Soo I've been working on a power system ( not for a Novel) just fir fun and would love some insight on it pls

WHAT IS COMPREHSION??

Comprehension is a power system centered around understanding. Every person who awakens it becomes connected to a single concept—not by choice, but because that concept resonates with something fundamental about them.

A person cannot choose or change what they comprehend.

Unlike most power systems, Comprehension is not something people train to obtain. Most people will live and die without ever unlocking it.

AWAKENING

The only known way to awaken Comprehension is through an overwhelming psychological or traumatic experience.

At the very peak of that moment, the human mind briefly connects to one of the countless merged timelines. The person is completely unaware this happens, but when the moment passes, Comprehension has awakened.

No one knows why some people awaken while others don't, even after experiencing similar trauma.

Concepts

Every Comprehender possesses only one concept.

Examples include:

Fire

Dreams

Time

Memory

Identity

Gravity

There is no evidence that every concept has been discovered.

LAYERS

Comprehension consists of six layers.

Each new layer grants a deeper understanding of the concept, but also introduces a new drawback. Previous drawbacks never disappear; they continue to affect the user alongside the new one.

The higher someone climbs, the less human the experience becomes.

ADVANCEMENT

Advancing is one of the greatest mysteries.

Every person has unique advancement conditions.

There is no universal requirement.

A trigger could be something as extreme as being shot, or something as ordinary as hearing a child cry.

No one can intentionally force advancement because nobody knows what their trigger is.

There are signs before advancement occurs, but they are so subtle that most people never recognize them until it is already too late.

UNCERTAINTY

Nothing about Comprehension is completely reliable.

Ancient records contradict each other.

Survivors tell different stories.

People who experienced identical concepts developed completely different abilities and drawbacks.

Because of this, most historical information surrounding Comprehension is considered unreliable.

One person's experience should never be assumed to apply to another.

THE COST

Comprehension is not a gift.

Every increase in understanding comes with increasingly severe psychological consequences.

Many Comprehenders never survive long enough to reach the higher layers.

Power is earned.

Sanity is the price.

THE MERGE

The origin of Comprehension is tied to an event known only as The Merge.

Almost nothing is known about it.

It is said that infinite timelines became one.

Even more strangely...

The Merge has happened.

The Merge is happening.

The Merge will happen.

All three statements are simultaneously true.

No one fully understands what that means.

SOoo I have more Lore on it that I can post later concerning the layers , drawbacks and the merge but I would like some insight and what u think of it also the image isn't mine just saw it on Google

Agnes scaling and lore

Yo Bloodborn! Today we're scaling Agnes Ganelon, the energetic Apprentice Cartographer introduced in the Against the Dying Light event. She's not yet in the main story, but her event gives us some solid lore and kit info.

Appearance & Personality

Look: Young woman with long blue hair and golden eyes. Wears armor with a white cape.

Personality: Energetic, playful, and super curious. She prefers going on real adventures and investigating things herself rather than just reading about history in books.

Backstory (Event: Against the Dying Light)

Agnes is the granddaughter of the Chairman of the Cartographers’ Association. Fascinated by an old ballad, she decides to prove herself by conducting a temporal survey — traveling 600 years into the past.

She lands in a different era (300 years before the full Black Blood outbreak) and influences events tied to the ballad/prophecy involving Quinn Crowley.

Her goal: Uncover the truth behind the ballad and explore history on her own terms. The journal entries show her deeper thoughts — she questions whether cartographers should only map what’s visible, or if the hidden stories, legends, and nameless souls matter too. She wants to chart not just land, but the flow of history itself.

“Tell me, in places yet untouched by cartographers, could greater fascinations await?”

In-Game Kit & Abilities (Crescent Moon, Kingdom / Enlightener)

Rarity: SSR

Role: Warrior / Debuff

Weapon: Golden drafting ruler that transforms into a sword/lance. In Timeworn Mausoleum it has a cool wolf-head design.

Skills:

Basic ATK (Survey): Standard attacks.

Special (Meridian Tracing): Every 3 basic attacks — deals Physical DMG in a rectangle and grants a shield (30% Max HP for 12s).

Talent (Multi-Coordinate Analysis): +30% DMG when hitting 3+ enemies.

Ultimate (Temporal Construct): Creates a Projected Plane that pulls enemies in, applies Movement Speed Down + Physical DEF Down, then transforms her weapon into boomerang attacks for 12 seconds.

She’s built for AoE control, debuffing, and team survivability.

Lore & Cosmology Ties

Time Travel: Her ability to conduct a temporal survey and jump 600 years back directly supports the game’s branching timelines / cycles cosmology.

Ties into themes of fate, hidden history, and reality layers (similar to Timeworn Mausoleum’s temporal rifts, Albrecht’s duplicates, and Timeless Aiona’s time manipulation).

Her family bloodline has a “curse” mentioned in relic descriptions, hinting at deeper tragedy or power potential.

Power Tier Placement

Combat: Solid AoE Warrior/Debuffer. Great for mobbing and mid-game content with her multi-target damage and shielding.

Lore Scaling: High Tier Event Character. Time travel + cartography hax puts her in an interesting spot for timeline manipulation and exploration feats. Not top Bloodborn/Church immortal level yet, but her temporal abilities give her strong conceptual potential in the bigger cosmology.

Hax: Time travel + Temporal Construct (creating a Projected Plane that manipulates space and pulls enemies). This gives her solid time-space manipulation potential.

Overall Placement:

Mid-to-High Tier among event characters.

Below top timeless/reality-warping characters like Timeless Aiona (end of time traveler), Albrecht (duplicate universe creator), or Jacintha Dalcarlo (one of the strongest Bathory Elder).

Comparable to other strong time/cycle-involved units but not on the level of true immortals/Bloodborn Elders or Bell Ringers.

Continental / Multi-Continental combat potential with strong conceptual hax via her cartography + temporal abilities.

Questions for the sub:

How does Agnes scale against other time-related characters (Aiona, Albrecht)?

Thoughts on her event story and the old ballad?

Best team builds with her?

Drop your takes, corrections, more info from the event, or Future scaling

Dalcarlo scaling and lore

Yo Bloodborn! Today we’re scaling Jacintha Dalcarlo (also called Jacintha Dalcarlo / Dalcarlo), one of the most mysterious and powerful characters in Silver and Blood.

Pulled from wiki, events (especially As Tears Fade Into the Sunset and Last Summer), and in-game lore.

Backstory & Lore (MAYOR SPOILERS)

Origin: Started as a small black cat named Jacintha, abandoned by her mother. Adopted by Eliana (a divination-powered cat belonging to Limine Bathory, Matriarch of the Bathory family).

Jacintha was warned not to use her divination powers because they bring tragedy. Her friend Bernice convinced her anyway — leading to Black Blood outbreaks killing cats around her.

Fusion/Rebirth: 10 years later, a human diviner named Dalcarlo (who inherited tarot cards from her adoptive mother Esmeralda) crashes on the island aboard the ship Pontos.

During a Black Blood outbreak, Dalcarlo and cat Jacintha drown trying to escape. Limine Bathory revives and fuses them into one being: Jacintha Dalcarlo, who can freely transform between human and cat forms.

Current Role: One of the four Bathory Elders. Bella calls her the "undisputedly strongest of the Bathory Elders". She lounges in cat form, has a nest on the castle tower, and is hard to track. Often answers in riddles or tarot metaphors.

Philosophy: Believes people and beasts are equal. Deeply tied to themes of fate, rebirth, and divination. She sees herself as the Hanged Man (suspended in time) but pulls the Sun (rebirth) in key moments.

Key Event Feats (Last Summer):

She steals a memory core from Bella No.7 before Albrecht can get it and has it delivered to Bella No.1. Albrecht notices and calls her a “cat burglar” — showing she can outmaneuver high-level Church figures.

Abilities & Combat Scaling

Role: Debuffer / Enchanter (Bloodborn faction, likely Full Moon phase, Magic damage).

Divination Theme: Inflicts various debuffs on enemies through tarot/divination. Strong crowd control, DoT (damage over time), and team utility

Ultimate: Damage scales based on how many times she uses it in battle. AoE focus with heavy debuff application.

Lore Powers: Master-level divination, fate manipulation hints, transformation (human/cat), and reality-altering insight. As a Bathory Elder fused by Limine, she has high Blood Power and immortality traits common to top Bloodborn.

Power Tier Placement

Silver Tier / High Tier: One of the strongest Bathory Elders (per Bella).

Lore-wise, she operates on a high level within Bloodborn society — likely Continental to Planetary combat with strong hax (fate reading, debuff conceptual manipulation, transformation).

Cosmology Ties: Connected to Bathory family (tied to layered dream events via Lamia/Empousa) and broader themes of rebirth, time suspension, and defying fate. Her actions against Albrecht show she can interfere with Church plans on a meaningful scale.

Strengths: Excellent debuffing, AoE control, scaling ultimate, mysterious hax potential.

Anti-Feats: Prefers lounging and vague responses over direct confrontation. Relies on cleverness more than raw destruction.

Overall Scaling: multi continental to large planet

Combat: Top-tier debuffer/support for PvE and PvP.

Lore: Elite Bloodborn Elder with rebirth + divination

hax. Potentially rivals or exceeds other high Elders in influence and raw power.l

Edit ( I actually made some mistakes with this character Lore so Im planning on remaking it here's her wiki page

Isaac Van Helsing lore and scaling

Yo Bloodborn! Time to scale one of the strongest and most tragic Church characters —

Isaac Van Helsing. Pulled from wiki, events (Sapphire Isle arc, Among Strangers, main story), and in-game lore.

Backstory & Lore (Major Spoilers)

Early Tragedy (Sapphire Isle, ~12 years ago):

Isaac’s father (Averdin) allows Sirens to settle on the island. He marries Myrtle (Lorelei Auclair’s mother), making Lorelei Isaac’s stepsister.

His uncle Hallon and Constantine experiment on Sirens for “Siren’s Tears” to cure Bella Slade’s illness.

Black Blood outbreak turns Averdin into a Blood Beast. Isaac is forced to kill his own father to save villagers.

His friends Clovis and Tiffany die.

Albrecht’s Purge: Bell Ringer Albrecht is sent to wipe out the island. Hallon bargains for Isaac’s life.

Albrecht adopts him as his youngest disciple (3rd disciple of Albrecht, alongside Piera Paracelsus). Isaac loses memories of the trauma and becomes a devoted Church inquisitor.

Return to Sapphire Isle: Isaac investigates his past. He gets captured, tortured, and exposed to Siren’s Tears (hallucinations). This shakes his black-and-white sense of justice. He teams up with Noah and questions Church methods.

Current role: 8th Captain of the Silver Cross, Inquisitor. Devoted to “absolute justice” but starting to doubt due to Albrecht’s shady actions.

Relationship with Albrecht: Sees him as a father figure at first, but Albrecht views him coldly as “scientist and test subject.” Still respects him deeply

Abilities & Combat Scaling (Gameplay + Lore)

Role:

Physical DPS / Marksman (Full Moon phase, Church faction).

Signature Style: Extreme range, crit-focused attacks, high mobility. “Arrow of Justice” — strong single-target and AoE burst.

Ultimate: Massive damage with execute potential and team synergy. Often called one of the best DPS for bossing and Timeworn Mausoleum.

Lore Powers: Expert inquisitor/hunter trained by Albrecht. Proficient with guns, purification, anti-Bloodborn tactics. High Blood Power as a top Church vassal.

Power Tier Placement,Silver Tier / High Tier:

Top physical DPS in meta. Lore-wise, as Albrecht’s disciple and Silver Cross captain, he scales to Planetary / Continental combat with strong hax (purification, justice-themed conceptual attacks?).

Cosmology Ties: Operates within the Church’s cyclical order but has personal growth toward questioning fate/timelines.

Not on the level of timeless characters (Aiona) or reality-warpers (Albrecht), but elite among active fighters.

Strengths: Insane damage output, mobility, anti-evil hax.

Anti-Feats: Still human-level compared to true immortals/Bloodborn top tiers. Emotional trauma can be exploited.

Overall Scaling:

Combat: High Tier DPS (great for PvE, strong in PvP with proper teams).

Lore/Power: Elite Church enforcer with potential to grow beyond his master’s shadow. Possibly Multi-Continental+ with full power + Church resources

( I might have missed somethings so pls add more information on him)

Albrecht scaling and Lore

Today we’re scaling one of the most mysterious and chill characters in Silver and Blood —

Albrecht Magnus, the first doctor, alchemist, and scientist of Minexus, and Bell Ringer No. III of the Chronos Church.

Past & Backstory (Heavy Spoilers from Events)

Albrecht is an ancient, highly intelligent figure tied deeply to the Church.

He has adopted disciples (including Isaac Van Helsing and Piera Paracelsus as his vice-commander). He took them in after major tragedies (e.g., purging events on islands to contain Black Blood outbreaks).

In his past, the world (or his original realm) was destroyed when he was young.

He responded by creating multiple duplicate/pocket universes with their own laws, concepts, and altered time flow.(Edit, I said he remade his world but it's not confirmed how the world got repopulated)

He sent Stella (from the Among Strangers event) to observe a higher-dimensional realm after her own world was ruined.(Edit , we know the tower is the bridge between both worlds, so the tower itself scale to at least low multiversal, but I won't get into that today).

This shows his capability to interact with and manipulate higher realms.

Key Goal: Albrecht seems focused on preservation, experimentation, and understanding/rebuilding reality amid the cycles.

He’s often portrayed as detached and “unbothered” while operating on a massive scale behind the scenes.

Cosmology & Reality Warping Feats

Duplicate Universes: Albrecht created numerous pocket/duplicate worlds. These have custom laws and different time flows. This is one of the strongest pieces of evidence for High Multiversal scaling in the game.

Ties into the broader cosmology: branching timelines, temporal rifts (like Timeworn Mausoleum), and instability in the Chronos cycles.

He operates on a level involving higher-dimensional observation and reality restructuring.

Combat / Vassal Scaling (Gameplay + Lore)

Role: Enchanter / Heavy-Armored Healer (Church faction, New Moon phase, Magical damage).

Silver Mist:

Generates a powerful mist field for healing, range expansion, and team support.

Ultimate: Applies All DMG Taken Up to enemies (massive team DPS amp) while providing strong heals (up to 600-750% ATK).

Lore-wise, his powers involve alchemy, science, and reality manipulation far beyond standard Blood Power. As a top Bell Ringer, he’s on the level of other high Church executives.

Power Tier Placement:

Silver Tier / High End: High Multiversal (via duplicate universes + higher-dimensional work) with strong hax (reality warping, time manipulation support, conceptual experimentation).

Combat feats place him as a top-tier support who can influence large-scale battles through buffs/debuffs and mist control.

Compared to Timeless Aiona (end of time traveler) he’s more about creation/stabilization of realities rather than pure acausality.

Strengths & Hax:

Reality creation & duplication

Advanced alchemy & scientific mastery

Healing + enemy debuffing on massive scales

Likely immortality/age resistance as an old Bloodborn-era figure

Weaknesses/Anti-Feats:

More of a behind-the-scenes operator than a direct combat monster in some depictions.

Church alignment puts him at odds with Bloodborn goals (Return to the Moon). I feel like I missed something so pls add a comment if u have anything to say

Timeworm mausoleum scaling and lore

What's good, Bloodborn! A lot of people grind the Timeworn Mausoleum every day for materials, but what's the actual lore behind it? Here's what we know from in-game dialogue (mainly Noah Augustine's backstory).

Lore Summary

The Timeworn Mausoleum is an ancient underground structure built to contain temporal rifts (anomalies in time and space) that started appearing long ago beneath a castle.

It was constructed on the orders of the lord of the castle at the time because these dangerous temporal rifts were emerging.

The Aegis family contributed greatly to its construction.

It is connected to old castles and forbidden grounds, such as the Lost Courtyard of the Bathory family (where young warriors used to train).

Key Dialogue Source: Noah Augustine (the guardian/keeper character) explains this when talking about the history of the castle and the Aegis family.

He mentions he was the keeper during a renovation long ago and notes how surprised he is to see living Aegis family members.

Connection to Bigger Cosmology

This fits perfectly with the game's themes:

Temporal instability and time manipulation (ties into Timeless Aiona, branching timelines, Albrecht’s duplicate universes, and the Chronos Church’s cycles).

It’s a man-made attempt to seal reality-warping threats, similar to the Timeless Prison or layered dream realms.

Hints at ancient Holy Wars and convergence of realms (seen in relic descriptions, like Sirene’s Blood-Smeared Cloak found at such sites).

It shows the world of Minexus has been dealing with time-space cracks for centuries — possibly linked to the Bloodborn’s “Return to the Moon” prophecy or Church interference in fate.

Gameplay vs Lore Note

While lore-wise it’s a sealed containment site for temporal dangers, in-game it’s the main daily tower defense / wave defense endgame mode where you deploy 5 Vassals to protect points and farm skill materials/Blood Power upgrades.

Questions for Discussion:

Do you think the temporal rifts are connected to the Moon or Abel’s blood?

Any other lore drops about the Mausoleum from later chapters/events (post Ch. 18)?

S&B cosmology scaling

What's up, Lords & Bloodborn! Here's a solid breakdown of the Silver and Blood cosmology based on main story (up to Ch. 18+) and key events.

Everything here is pulled from in-game lore, events, and verified sources — no headcanon.

Core Structure

The world runs on endless cycles enforced by the Chronos Church. These aren't simple time loops — major decisions create branching separate universes/timelines.

Blood is the source of life, memories, and power. The 13 original Bloodborn gained near-immortality by drinking Abel the Martyr's blood.

Goal of the Bloodborn: "Return to the Moon" — implying a higher realm or origin point.

Higher Layers (Event-Based Scaling)

Branching Universes & Cycles: Confirmed across multiple stories. Each divergence spawns a new universe. → Multiversal+ base.

Timeless Characters (Timeless Aiona, Seth, Limine, etc.): Exist above the timeline cycles. Aiona reaches the literal "end of time" and travels across eons/multiverse with the Temporal Veil (Alita family secret of time).

Acausality + time hax on a massive scale.

Albrecht's Duplicate Universes (Among Strangers event with Stella): Albrecht creates multiple pocket/duplicate universes with their own laws, concepts, and different time flow. Ties into the world being destroyed in the past yet repopulated.

Timeless Prison (Fanny Love and Lust event): A special prison existing outside normal dimensions. Extremely hard to escape. Noah + allies break out using Blood Vassal powers.

Layered Dream Realities ( / Succubus Sisters events.forgot their names): Trapping people in dream inside a dream inside a dream, with aware dream inhabitants trying to keep the dreamer asleep. Strong reality/dream manipulation layers.

Overall Cosmology Tier

Low End: Multiversal+ (branching timelines/universes)

High End: Complex Multiversal → potentially Low Outerversal (timeless beings above all cycles, end of time, custom-law universes, layered dreams, extra-dimensional prisons)

Key Hax:

Time manipulation / Acausality

Reality warping (duplicates + dreams)

Conceptual fate/cycle control (Church vs Bloodborn)

Immortality + memory transfer via blood

Dimensional imprisonment

Notes:

Most high-end stuff comes from limited events (Timeless Aiona, Albrecht/Stella, Fanny, Lamia). Main story builds the foundation.

Chapter 19+ continues the fate/war threads but no massive new cosmology drops widely available yet.

Power levels in combat (Blood Power stat, Blood Moon amps) are much lower — Planetary/Continental for top Vassals.

What do you guys think? Drop your takes, corrections, or specific character feats below! Let's debate matchups and refine the tiers.
