Not everybody needs to be stick thin and some people are better looking overweight

Rebel Wilson. Orpah Winfrey. Kelly Osbourne. Melissa McCarthy. That one dude from My Name is Earl. Jonah Hill. CRISP RAT.

They all looked so much better when they were overweight! Some of them just look plain weird without the weight on them and the others that have become really ripped and skinny... ugh. It doesn't look right. Not everybody needs to be super skinny and jacked to be attractive. Look at Nelly Furtado- she put on weight and now she looks even better than she did before. I want to see more of that, not these GLP-1 goop people.

Imagine if Chris Farley got on Ozempic. John Candy. Arethra Franklin. Mama Cass. Fucking DIVINE. They would look terrible! Let some people be plump and beautiful!! Not everybody needs to be a bag of bones 😤

Server/Bartender looking for an easy in

As the title states, I'm a server/bartender with over 15 years of experience looking to get into seasonal work as I'm tired of the grind. I've been applying up a storm at as many places I can on CoolWorks but have only had a couple bites. One place asked when I could start, I told them as soon as they need me, and then there was no reply after for whatever reason.

I did get hired at a place but it won't start until May so was hoping to find somewhere for the winter, hence the reason for my post. Does anyone have any leads on places that have a fairly simple and straightforward hiring process? I'm fine with doing interviews of course but it feels like I've been fishing for a while very few actual bites so I'm wondering if maybe I'm just not looking at the right places. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it! I want to get started down this path as soon as possible as the grind is just wearing me down something awful. I'm also open to any advice about what I should do or say to get my foot in the door and would love to hear from others that were once in my shoes.

About 6 years on now

I wish I had more pictures from before to show a better comparison but either way, this is me. 😊

Need help running Fallout 2 on Chromebook

So I'm having some difficulty getting to play Fallout 2 on my Chromebook. I have FO2.ex downloaded and was able to play the 1st game on it without any difficulty. But now that I've completed the game I want to move onto the 2nd but I'm unable to scroll over to install and play the 2nd.

The starter screen for the app (FO2.ex) just stays on Fallout 1 and will not allow me to pan over to Fallout 2 to download and play it. I have the game on my Android but it's incredibly difficult to play it with a touch screen as it will select choices I don't want when I click on anything (I guess my fingers are too fat), so I want to play it on my Chromebook instead as I was able to actually play Fallout 1 and make the correct selections when I did.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how were you able to scroll over to Fallout 2 to play it? I really don't want to have to play it on my phone but if I have to I guess I will. 🫤 If there is a way to connect a controller on my phone to help with making choices I would happily do that instead but I'm at a loss as to how to do it. I would really appreciate any help please!

Cis men never stfu

It is so aggravating. I've reached a point where I hardly speak when I'm out in public anymore because it's not like I ever get to say anything anyways. I'll be at work and a dude will strike up a conversation with me and I'll say literally one sentence and then he rambles on and on and on and continously interrupts & speaks over me when I do try to say something.

Before I transitioned I was able to actually talk to people and people would listen when I spoke. But nowadays it's like I don't even exist anymore. I've grown quieter and quieter and find myself avoiding interaction because it's pointless to even try when I'm never having so much a conversation as listening to someone else drone on. Women will at least let me speak a bit more but then without fail a cis man will join the conversation and immediately take over.

Why tf do they do that??? Is it some weird macho man shit that they feel they just have to control the conversation to make themselves "look better?" I'm genuinely at a loss as to how to navigate social interactions now. It's so fucking annoying!

Please tell me it's not just me and someone else has noticed this/dealt with it.

Goatee or short beard?

Or should I try to grow out a full beard? Each time I've tried to grow it out it comes in patchy and weird so I end up trimming it down, but I'm open to trying again! Clean shaven is not an option I will entertain however, as it always makes me look like a potato with eyes.

These people are out of their fucking minds!! This is a company I have literally already been working for as I've been doing temp gigs with them through Indeed Flex. They offered me a permanent position with them as they already saw how well I work, yet even after having worked 5 gigs with them they still want me to do an unpaid working interview for *11 1/2 hours??*

A working interview that is less than 4 hours is understandable for a role in the service industry *if you get paid for it*. But to expect someone to work nearly 12 hours for free is absolutely insane! Especially when I've already worked for this company multiple times and they know how well I do. I was literally recommended by one of the managers that worked with me!

Gas is $4 a gallon, food prices are astronomical, rent is even more bonkers... yet companies are still expecting people to show up and work for free so they can *maybe* get hired, even when it is highly illegal for them to do so. 😐
