With Challenger World Season 3 coming up and the hype building around the new Time Wanderer Kai boss, I’ve decided to use the Hyper Burning MAX and the CW passive buffs to build a brand new main.
I’ve narrowed it down to Demon Slayer and Zero, but I’m completely stuck and could use some advice from people who main either of them.
There is a constant debate in the community right now about the state of progression for players who have demanding real-life schedules.
A lot of veteran players sitting around the 30m CP mark in Interactive servers eventually hit the massive paywall (cubes, mesos for Star Force, etc.) and naturally look toward Heroic servers as an escape. The promise of earning everything through gameplay is huge.
However, Heroic is a notorious time-sink. This raises a big question for the modern playerbase:
If a player can realistically only dedicate about 1 hour a day to the game, which server actually respects their time more?
On one hand, Interactive allows you to bypass the grind if you are willing to swipe, but it feels awful to be paywalled. On the other hand, Heroic is free, but with only an hour a day to farm, does that progression eventually just flatline?

so after 12 straight years of maining pally in scania, I've finally hit my breaking point. I can't keep up with the p2w anymore. I'm completely fine with progressing slowly, I just hate feeling like I'm making literally zero progress unless I swipe.
I decided to finally make the jump to reboot and logged into a super old account. found a lvl 150 hero sitting there with a pottable ghost ship badge.
now I'm having a massive crisis.
my original plan was to wait for challenger world next month and start completely fresh. after 12 years of pally I kinda wanted to try something entirely new, maybe demon slayer or zero. but looking at this badge... I know how insane it is to have one.
is the badge actually worth being locked into explorer warriors for the rest of my life?
what would you guys do? suck it up and stick to the hero which I kinda toke as semi option (or job change back to pally) for the badge, or just say screw it, wait for challenger world, and play ds/zero?
also if anyone has class recommendations outside of those that feel refreshing after a decade of paladin, please drop them. I'm so lost right now lol. thanks in advance.
