I figured it'd be good to ask here, since this subreddit is about roblox avatars. Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of people adding pride pins or armbands to their avatars on this sub, and I was genuinely curious about the reasoning behind it.

Aside from the obvious answer of self-expression, is there more to it? Sometimes I notice the colors don't quite match the avatar's overall aesthetic, which made me wonder about the choice to include them. I know June is coming up, but I've been seeing them a lot more frequently even before the month hits.

I also wondered—and I mean this respectfully—if some people add them just to troll or see how others react? I know that might not be the case for most people, but I figure there are always a few who do it for that reason. Or is it strictly a personal identity choice for the vast majority?

I know everyone has their own reasons, so I'd love to hear your perspectives! Why do you choose to include these details on your avatar?

Note: I mean other reasons other than self expression. I know most probs do it for self expression but I was curious if there was more to why people have these!

Hey! So i've been working on an AU for a while. I don't have an official name for it yet! And I plan to make this au expand b letting people add their own ocs in it! of course this is fully my au. :) But to give you some simple info about young lana and lina.

Under the stern, sometimes cold guidance of her caretakers, she was groomed for the fashion world. She pursued that dream all the way through college, fueled by their high expectations. However, life had other plans. After a string of failed modeling attempts, she discovered a different kind of artistry. Now, she channels her eye for fashion into her work as a nail tech, proving that success doesn't always look like a catwalk

Lina: Fifteen-year old Lina comes from a life of wealth, yet she has always felt like an outsider in her own family. An introvert by nature, she spent most of her childhood at the orphanage where her mother served as the head mistress. Lina was a fixture in the back row of the classroom, quietly observing and excelling in her studies—a habit that earned her a reputation as the "nerdy teacher’s pet."

When her parents pressured her into the glamorous world of modeling, Lina felt she had no choice but to comply. However, she secretly pivoted; instead of walking the runway, she secured a position as a backup nail technician. Desperate to maintain her parents' approval, she now lives a double life, keeping her true career a secret while they believe she is pursuing the spotlight
