[TOMT] [Game] [early 2000s] Rustic pre-rendered point and click game

This mystery game was seemingly lost for a while but it was eventually found and published onto steam and other retailers but their was 100% a mobile port (maybe). The player was in a cart or on rails looking for... some sort of resource. The game was point and click, so you couldn't move freely with WASD controls. all of the art (characters and backgrounds) were pre-rendered. The general contents of the art were very rustic in nature, generally could be described as a dark-steampunk. I also recall the character art used for the dialogue being very detailed. The games tone itself might of been horror but it was an overall dark but somewhat surreal atmosphere.

I'm very conflicted on this choice for the finale.

IMO the finale was pretty solid! But jax succmbing to Abstraction feels so... odd? I cant exactly explain it but theirs 100 ways and counting they could of executed that flashback sequence without killing his character off. If anyone could clarify what Gooseworxs intention with Jaxs abstraction it would be great! I have a feeling Jax and Caines arcs are supposed to parrel each other to an extent. His abstraction was definetly forshadowed alot and he was already on the edge. I still feel uncertain about what his death is supposed to mean for the greater story.
Sorry for the bit of the rant, I'm still a little confused on how this adds up.
