TruFit thin thickness
What do you think about getting a thinnest TruFit size when training BJJ? I only use it for BJJ and I don't do any striking. Website suggests standard fit but want to get everyone input!

During my income recert in June, They put me in IBR saying that I dont have financial hardship anymore so they kicked me off.
I logged into FSA and Aidvantage today and finally everything is updated and i am now back to PAYE
But I noticed that my payment listed on FSA is 7 dollar less than Aidvantage. Which one should be the accurate one? If FSA one is correct than I have been paying $7 more each month since June. Idk how to get this corrected

Went through a long process trying to keep my PAYE plan alive, but Aidvantage ultimately kicked me off and switched me to an IDR plan. I’m honestly tired of going back and forth with Aidvantage and FSA, so I finally gave in and decided to stay on IDR. I’ll be at the 10-year standard payment cap anyway.
I submitted my PSLF form a few days ago, and it was processed, but they aren’t counting my July payment, the month when my new payment amount and new repayment plan kicked in.
Is anyone else going through something similar? Should I submit a reconsideration request to have them look at the July payment again, or is there a reason that month wouldn’t qualify? (FYI they initially put in forbearance for a day when my income recert deadline passed but I called them to get me out of it right away)
I’m thinking about picking up an Anaconda knee brace. I know they get a lot of hate, but they are much more affordable than most of the other (better) options, and I can’t really justify spending on Genutrain right now.
I noticed my knees get especially sore when they slide across the mats during training.
I’m debating between the regular anaconda sleeve and the version with the stabilizers/straps. They’re about the same price, but the strapped version isn’t competition legal (at least from what I understand). I don’t compete right now, but maybe one day who knows.
For those of you who have used Anaconda braces, which version would you recommend? Is the extra stability worth giving up competition legality, or is the regular sleeve good enough for general BJJ training?
I am a beginner who has been using handed down faded gi.. want to get myself am affordable gi finally but budget limited to $150 (invluding tax and shipping)
Kingz Kore ($100) the one ($120) nano 3.0 ($130) are on the list currently. Which one would you recommend for general all around purpose?
By the way, tried Elite A2 but it too was a bit tight/small so returned (A3 would be too big).
Day 4 into our toddler having diarrhea every 2 hours or so.. everything is okay other than she doesnt have much appetite and not as active as before. Still smiley and looks relatively okay.
When we called peds line, RN told us continuing milk is okay. I was worried about dairy so I asked her if i should use formula (no longer using - we had RTF bottles left that we dont use). She told us to just continue milk as our daugher is over 12 months
When i researched today, a lot of people say to avoid dairy/milk just to be safe. Should I stop dairy product completely? Or maybe try lactose free milk? Daughter get good amount of liquid from milk every day so i am worried about stopping it completely. She refused pedialytes (initially liked but refuses now)
Recently replaced my 23 model Y windshield from Tesla service center and paid $1014
My in laws also replaced their 21 model Y windshield from the same service center and paid $1450.
Looking at the invoice, it seems all the same but i was charged $470 for windshield assembly while inlaws got charged $1000 for the same line item
What could potentially cause this price difference? Other than 21 vs 23 model Y, the only difference I can think of is they have FSD and I dont

Today I noticed that my repayment plan on the Aidvantage website was changed from PAYE to Income-Based Repayment (IBR). My monthly payment also increased to what appears to be the 10-year Standard Repayment amount (I expected this amount)
I was previously told from Reddit that if I did nothing, I would remain in PAYE, but it seems Aidvantage has put me in IBR.
The FSA website still shows my repayment plan as PAYE and reflects my old payment amount so i'm checking to see if this will get updated to IBR or remain in PAYE (shouldn't change the amount that I'm supposed to pay monthly moving forward)
I submitted a feedback complaint through FSA about 30 days ago and have not received a response. When I chatted with an FSA live agent, they told me that I should remain in PAYE, so I am not sure what is going on.
I know some of you have posted about this issue with Aidvantage (and possibly other loan servicers too), but I wanted to share my situation and hopefully get some advice.
I have been on PAYE for the past 6 years. I am no longer technically considered to have a “partial financial hardship,” but my understanding is that once you are already enrolled in PAYE, you can remain on the plan even if your income later increases.
I know that after recertification my payment would simply be capped at the 10-year Standard repayment amount under PAYE, and I am completely fine with that.
However, Aidvantage sent me a message today saying that I do not qualify for IDR anymore because I no longer have a financial hardship. I tried chatting with a representative to escalate the issue, but got nowhere.
I shared this link with them:
https://studentaid.gov/manage-loans/repayment/plans/income-driven#monthly-payments
Under the “PAYE and IBR capped payments” section, it says:
“Under these plans, your monthly payment will never be more than the 10-year Standard Repayment Plan amount.
IDR plans calculate your monthly payment amount based on your income and family size. So if your income increases, so does your payment amount. On PAYE and IBR, we limit your payments so that even if your income increases, your payments never go higher than what you’d pay on the Standard Plan.”
This was the response I received from Aidvantage:
“I think you misunderstand, once the plan expires you will be in the 10 year standard repayment. This will not count towards forgiveness, however it will go towards the balance.”
Honestly, I have no idea what they mean by that, and it sounds like they are unwilling to do anything.
I am currently at 80/120 PSLF qualifying payments, and I expect my income to stay the same or continue increasing going forward. I am aware that I need to pay 10y capped payment moving forward and I am okay with that.
So I wanted to ask:
Would getting kicked out of PAYE actually hurt me in my situation?
- If so, what is the best way to escalate this without causing payment gaps or PSLF issues?
If it does not matter much in my case, what would be the best next step?
Would switching to IBR still cap my payment at the 10-year Standard amount, meaning I would effectively pay the same amount while continuing to receive PSLF qualifying payments?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with this recently. I didn’t see any resolutions from old posts.
Was considering WD SN850X with OWC enclosure as many people recommended. However, WD SN850X price is around $400 for 2TB!
Is there something more affordable with good performance you recommend?
Has anyone serviced by Aidvantage successfully recertified their income for PAYE recently?
I have been on PAYE since 2019 and am currently around 80 out of 120 qualifying payments for PSLF.
I just submitted my IDR recertification today to remain on PAYE. Due to an increase in my income, my payment will be capped as 10-year standard plan, even under PAYE.
I have seen a few Reddit posts where borrowers in a similar situation (higher income now while on PAYE with Aidvantage) were reportedly removed from PAYE for no longer “qualifying,” even though we all know the income requirement only applied when initially entering the plan.
I am starting to get concerned this might happen to me as well. If I am removed from PAYE, what would be the best course of action?
Should I request to be placed on IBR instead, since the payment would be similar anyway? (I think IBR also caps at 10y standard payment plan? I may be wrong). Does IBR also count towards PSLF count?
Or should I contact Student Aid to try to be reinstated on PAYE?
I have not seen any clear updates or resolutions from others in this situation, so any recent experiences or advice would be really helpful.
My income recertification is due on 5/9, so I just made my May payment and am now working on submitting my IDR income recertification application. I am currently on PAYE and want to make sure I stay on it and do not mess anything up.
Am I doing this correctly?
I want to make sure I remain on the PAYE plan for PSLF. Thank you!
