Dead battery?

Dead battery?

I don’t have access to a multi meter until later this week.

Camper has been parked for a few weeks, went to go lift the roof today ( electric winch ) and it hardly moved. Took a booster pack and it was fine right away.

We have a 30amp receptacle as well and decide to plug it to shore power and everything was fine.

Would this be a sign of a weak battery that should get charged? I am going to test the power once I have a multi meter.

Salsa journeyer hydro brakes upgrade help

I bought a 2019 Journeyer, I’m upgrading ( trying ) to Shimano MT200 . The rear adapter which is what I thought would’ve work isn’t. Flat mount to post mount. The flat adapter also had a gap between the mount and caliper. Thoughts?

Has anyone upgraded to hydro brakes? It seems like everyone is running mechanical brakes on these bikes.

57cm Journeyer sizing for a 6’2 lad

Found a sweet deal on a 2020 57cm, any 6’2 fellows out there riding a 57cm and are happy with the size? I won’t bother looking for a 60cm since this just happened to be a sweet marketplace deal.

Thanks

Let me pick your brain with towing

2025 R line, 5000lbs capacity / 500lbs tongue

have a pop up camper that has a UVW weight of 2845lbs, I would assume once it’s loaded with gear it’s under 3500-3700lbs ( I’m going to a scale soon to get the proper # )

I bought a tongue scale that gave me a rating of 360lbs, I could potentially make the number less with less stuff in the front storage box.

For my 2025 R Line Atlas the max cargo weight is 1102lbs

I calculated with 2 people in the car with everything else to be around 800lbs

Am I safe, thoughts?

Thanks

Looking for opinions on my set up

2025 vw atlas, towing capacity is 5000lbs

2010 Viking with a dry weight of 2700lbs ( approx ) and shows 500lbs tongue weight engraved next to the tongue.

In the car we have a cooler, dog, baby and both of us
( approx 500-550 lbs ) I might try to put the cooler in the camper

Local trips mostly within 2-3 hours away of flat highway and some small hills.

Should this be ok?

I’m looking at replacing the tongue jack stand, should I be looking for something that’s 1500lbs?

Thanks

Will I be ok with a 1500-2000 lbs jack stand?

First camping trip with our 25’Atlas. Has anyone gotten a tune to help with towing?

No really big complains but out of curiosity did anyone try a tune and noticed towing was abjt better?

Our camper is 3500lbs dry weight, I mostly had it on Sport mode for our 300kms trip and she did great!

Roof support bars?

Was under the camper and notice all 4 corners are like this, did something getting shifted? Assuming this is related to the roof support bars.

I could either try to fix it or add another L bracket for the part that’s not touching .

Tips of fixing floor please

I am going to attempt fixing the floor where I’ve drawn on my two photos.

I’m going to attempt to delete the toilet in the corner , remove the storage cabinet and remove long bench and redo that section of the floor. The floor under the fridge/stove is solid and I don’t feel like messing with that at the moment.

Any tips for me would be gladly appreciated.

Soft floor fixing tips?

We bought a 2010 camper and there is 3 spots that are soft. We are leaving in 2 weeks for a trip.

Im aware there’s definitely a water leak,I’ll try to source that in the mean time I want the floor safe for our trip.

I would cut the edges of the vinyl floor, peel it back and cut up sections of the rotten floor and added new plywood. Would this work?

Is there any insulation or anything els that’s down there’s? From underneath all I see is the frame and the plywood.

Thank you!

Just bought this sweet camper! Help me find a temporary solution for the floor.

Bought this bad ass camper for only $500 CAD, it’s a 2010 and is mint!… minus abit of the flooring by the entrance. I’m looking for some temporary solution to support to soft wood so we don’t step through it. This would be a temporary solution until I do a more personal fix this winter.

Bone graft membrane issue?

I’m in the stages of healing ( 4 days ) from a bone graft to get an implant. I’m starting to see abjt more of the membrane 4 days after the procedure. First photo is the following day and the second photo is taken today.

Should I be worried and contact my dentist on Monday ? I’m in no crazy amount of pain.
