Cheap laser level recommendations for leveling?

Cheap laser level recommendations for leveling?

Leveling our circle this weekend, any good laser level recommendations from Amazon or even H(or similar TSC/Ace/Lowes)

Planning on the 2x4 with level zip tied and the rebar method but from YT laser levels seem like an option, then use tape measure to check dirt height to laser line.

Griddle options for Weber Genesis II E-335?

Hey all,

Looking for griddle recommendations for a Genesis II purchased at Costco . I'd like a half insert and not a full.

Is the Weber insert worth it or other options maybe a bit cheaper?

Can't justify a Blackstone griddle since we have a Weber gas grill and put boss smoker. Hopefully there's a good griddle insert or even a cast iron or something that sits on the grates even.

Mainly for some el pastor tacos during summer, kids new favorite. Also where do you store your griddle attachment?

Thanks!;

Intex filter, anyone try these sands?

Setting up our intex XTR soon, includes a Intex SX1500 sand filter (26 lbs required)

Prior I used HTH pool sand, anyone try aqua joe or palmetto? Good/Bad experiences or is HTH worth a few extra bucks?

Mongoose kids Mongoose legion brake issues, level hard to pull and brake does not stop

Hey all,

Looking for some guidance on getting the U Brake on this bike up to par. Found this bike for free while driving, son being 9 was perfected for him to ditch his huffy.

I think it was stored outside, level works but doesn't stop like his pedal brake bike and no skids lol. He likes the bike and I don't want to go run out and buy a bike if I can save this one.

After messing with it the rear cables are fraying but was trying to get anything to happen, I should have ordered a cable puller vs wrench. I adjusted the level so he can grab it better, also made sure the pads were hitting wheel. Still no luck, lever extremely hard to pull and doesn't stop as it should.

Last bike I had was a GT Mach 1......wish I had that today!

Appreciate the help, wanna ride with my boy and both learn something.

Brake issue on kids Mongoose Legion, lever hard to pull?

Hi all,

Someone was giving this Mongoose Legion kids bike away for free and my son was ready to go up a side soon enough.

Problem is the brake level is too hard for him to pull, I can agree something seems off as it doesn't seem to stop as it should. .

It has a bmx style neck (sorry if that's not the correct term) along with a U Brake rear brake. I've already tried to adjust the lever, pad alignment and rear brake cable from some YouTube without luck. Seems the brake pad spacing to wheel is not even but better than it was but still stops like crap lol.

Now the cable is fraying, I don't mind re-cabling if possible vs buying a new bike since he's 9.

Love to make this work so we can ride together! Can I put a diff style rear brake on it?

Dig all grass/dirt level with patio or just slap up pool?

Had a patio with issues, had it redone and now grass is a few inches (approx 4") than the patio.

We have a 14x48 intex XTR going up, was going on the concrete slab (since no hot tub there lol) and may be better on grass with kids.

We will still have about 20'x25' patch of grass but wondering what would y'all do? Guess my worry is if down the road if a pool rail/wall have out and have 1,000s of gallons going toward the house/low areas.

frigidaire fgus2642lf2 refrigerator, hum but no water from bottom freezer door valve when paddle pushed?

Back from a 5 day vacation and plenty of ice but no water dispensing. Filter was stuck but now is free, filter was replaced and flushed day before leaving.

Left freezer door open in hopes to defrost water line since wasn't used for a few days. Finally disconnected the water fittings on freezer door side and have no water on either side when dispensing paddle is pushed.

Does that mean it's inlet? We get the motor hum which is normal, filter is currently removed until water flowing again.

Thanks;

Have a 5 day trip, worry about my immune system, flying and methotrexate 20mg injection.

Has anyone stopped their meds for a week or two? Last thing I want to do is end up sick from flying, low immunity and also want to have some drinks since staying all Inclusive.

Curious as to what others do....not living in fear just want to float and enjoy vacation! Lol

Thanks, been diagnosed a year and it's pretty controlled.

Setting up our pool on the next few weeks, we had a few before when this was just dirt.

Slab is just shy of 14', plan to use some 12x12" pavers to build out if needed and for the leg supports. Prob add some sand around the pool liner too where it hangs over.

We used 24"x24" foam gym mats gorilla taped together and it survived like a champ. We were going to use the foam boards but ended up returning them.

What's best now that it's concrete? Are the pool pads on Amazon good or gym mats just as good?

Looking forward to enjoyiny another pool now that the kids are older and neighbors cut down their mess #$- trees. Lol
