Now don’t get me wrong I’m massively excited for Warhammer 40k, but since the announcement part of me has been hoping that this will be a chance to see what Star Wars total war could look like.

Obviously a lack of space combat would be limiting but I’m sure the ground battles would still be loads of fun.

Some of theories I’ve heard, ranked from what i think is the most to least likely:

Some kind of battle droid - likely

Something to do with the cult stuff in the story - pretty likely

A Wookiee - somewhat likely

Night sisters - very unlikely

A gungan warrior - please be true it would be so funny

I am not asking specifically for advice about school but just looking for general advice regarding my finances while I’m just starting out. Basically, what advice would you give to your teenage self?

With the trailers showing orbital lasers and air strikes I’m wondering how these ability’s will be handled in the campaign.

Will it be an empire at war type system where you need a fleet in orbit?

Maybe just commander ability’s as a replacement for magic?

Something else?

Currently playing through Tyrants of Lothal and would love to be able to play this one but every Thrawn villain pack i can find online is either sold out or way too expensive. Would really appreciate it if anyone has it on hand, thanks.

The unpopular part of this view is the all part.

Every criminal, including child rapists and nazis, deserves fair treatment according to the law.

Online, there is often the sentiment that extrajudicial “justice” against what are considered worse criminals is good and righteous.

People cheer when the man who hanged the nazis incorrectly, causing unnecessary suffering, is brought up.

People cheer when rapists are beaten to death.

People cheer when child predators are killed in prison.

Im not saying that the justice system is not too lax in some areas, nor am i saying its wrong to advocate for additional or harsher punishments for these criminals. However, it is wrong to punish them beyond what the law has deemed acceptable right now.

When discussing homelessness with people, there is often this idea that the homelessness are simply down on their luck and all they need is time and support to get their life together. In my view, this is simply incorrect.

There is so much mental illness and drug use with the homeless that, in a majority of cases, they will simply not be able to integrate back into normal society, regardless of the physical and/or monetary support they receive. The only way for this to be possible is for them to get clean and get treatment.

While some will commit to these programs of their own free will, it’s just the reality of the situation that most will never take this step without someone doing it for them.

While I can acknowledge the horrific abuses that have been suffered in mental institutions in the past, I don’t see how we can disavow an idea purely because of the way it has been previously implemented.

For the record, I do not consider involuntary commitment morally neutral, it’s distinctively wrong to effectively imprison people without consent. However, I believe it will ultimately help people enough for us to consider it a necessary evil.

To change my view you would have to convince me:

Involuntary rehab centers/mental institutions are inherently immoral places where abuse cannot be prevented.

It is so immoral to commit someone against their will that it is irrelevant how successful the program is.

The program would not be successful in combating homelessness.

Or anything else you can think of that I have missed.

Thinking of getting into Shatterpoint and was hoping I would be able to use my Legion troopers for some casual games.

Are they about the same scale?

Also, is there anywhere to easily see the shaterpoint unit cards online?
