Player VR should be displayed before the race starts so you can switch lobbies if needed

I keep running into the same issue playing KO Tour, I'll be in a lobby where most players have 8000+ VR, I'll play a few times, have some strong finishes, and my points increase. Then I will randomly get put in a lobby where the average VR is about 6000 and it is a lose/lose situation.

  • Anything outside of the top 4 results in losing points
  • Winning only nets about 10 points
  • Any placement outside of the top 4 or so will cost me 40-80+ points
  • If you disconnect you lose 100 points

You're essentially forced to do the race with no benefit and 100% risk, which is super frustrating. I'll grind race after race to get up to 8500 only to drop 200+ points in the span of 3 races because of weak lobbies. I wish Nintendo would show player VR as people join so I can try a different lobby if I want to. Alternatively, they could fix matchmaking so this isn't really an issue.

I'm not some amazing player but I believe that if you want to improve you need to race people that are close to your level. Getting Mario karted by 6 random 4000 vr players spamming items is rough, especially when you're the only one with something to lose in the race.

Why would you pay all that money for a ticket just to miss half the show? There must have been about 10 random people around us showing up well into the concert.

Edit: Not sure why I got down voted? Just pointing out that it is annoying to have to constantly move to let people get to their seats, which half the time they don't even know where they are supposed to be, while I'm trying to enjoy the show.

Recently passed 50 nights and have gotten about 15 emails, sometimes multiple times a day, saying I can select an annual choice benefit.
