Does anyone else feel like Morning Pages are actually a literal form of magic or prayer.

Hey everyone, I know the standard advice is that Morning Pages are a "brain dump" for clearing clutter or boosting productivity, but I’ve been thinking more about the spiritual side of it. Julia Cameron herself calls it a form of meditation, and I’m curious if anyone here feels it’s actually more like a direct form of prayer or a way to tap into a spiritual current beyond our logical understanding. For those of you who still do them regularly: Have you ever noticed a "magic" to the pages where for example if you complain about something or ask for something specific, life suddenly shifts and gives you exactly what you need? like asking for something on the page and then suddenly getting it in a way that felt like "spiritual assistance"? Does anyone have specific stories? also, If you're someone like me, who has suffered from severe depression or a major life slump, did you find that writing every day allowed those mysterious forces beyond your control to operate in your favor and pull you out of it? it's like the act of automatic writing alone make you feel more spiritually aligned or less alone, as if life itself is responding to you... I’d love to hear if anyone else sees this as a spiritual tool first and foremost, something that allows you to tap into the forces you can't explain rather than just being a "to-do" list for your brain. Does your life feel richer or more "assisted" as a result of the practice?

How realistic is my 100+ day SR daydream ?

Hey everyone,

I put together a detailed summary of my personal daydreams and goals regarding strict 100+ day Semen Retention.

I want to lay out exactly what my ideal path looks like, and ask you guys how much of it is realistic vs. just a fantasy.

First, the starting point has to be an absolute, strict commitment to zero ejaculation. I believe that once you push past that 100-day mark, the reabsorbed fluid stops being just basic biology, it transforms into a magic, energetic fuel.

As this internal energy builds, I imagine it physically changing my appearance. In my head, it makes my face look visibly more handsome, gives me this intense physical beauty, and smooths out my features. Eventually, it would wipe away all my underlying shyness.

The real shift happens when I step outside more. When I take this amplified aura into the public, onto the subways, buses, busy streets, or even just walking alone at the zoo—the physical act of walking combined with that intense internal charge turns me into a magnet.

But then instead of focusing on pure celibacy, I would use my energy to attract people. At its peak, it feels like becoming entirely possessed by a spirit of lust or something. I imagine strangers instantly sensing my intoxicating sexual undercurrent radiating off me.

Instead of me having to chase anyone or try to flirt, I become like a vacuum. People are just automatically drawn to me, constantly craving sex, and throwing admiration at me, without effort on my part.

Then I would start engaging in constant sexual encounters while strictly retaining, the soul ties that I develop with people feed right back into me, amplifying my energy field.

In this alternate reality, that cycle would make me completely invisible to attacks, strip down my overthinking, remove every shred of social shame, and lets me live a life of absolute pleasure and charisma.

I want to get your thoughts on this:

  • How much of this do you think is actually true?
  • Has anyone here experienced a version of this intense "magnetism" or massive confidence boost?

Lowkey, I personally experienced all of this last year. Not this neatly though and it might've been as a result of different factors (don't know how much of it had to do with being manic as well) but last year, I was on a roll when I hit that long streak. It's interesting how I lost it all shortly after I started releasing... Semen retention will never cease to be strange to me

TikTok

I started scrolling on TikTok more recently, and it has completely ruined my mental health. It genuinely feels like there is some kind of negative energy or witchcraft built into the algorithm to keep you addicted. I looked at my phone today and realized I had unconsciously deleted all my other social media apps, like Instagram, without even remembering doing it. Right now, I have a headache, anxiety, and I feel terrible about myself. This app slowly kills your vibe and makes you lose your aura. You stop taking yourself seriously, in a bad way, and you slowly lose your empathy. I lowkey feel like the platform is designed to make humanity vibrate on a really low frequency. Has anyone else experienced this type of brain rot and negative energy from Tiktok?

Does fantasizing actually push your desires further away?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about manifestation and sexual energy lately, and I wanted to get your take on a theory.

We always hear that visualizing brings things to you. But I’m starting to think that sexual fantasizing actually does the opposite and pushes things away. When you fantasize and chase that release, you’re operating from a heavy state of lack and craving. You can't vibrationally align with having something if you're constantly stuck in the energy of wanting it. By satisfying the urge in a fantasy, do we just signal to the universe that we don't have it, freezing it out of real life?

For anyone on semen retention or celibacy:

Have you noticed that entertaining sexual thoughts about a person or goal creates more distance?

Has cutting out the fantasies and retaining actually made you more magnetic and brought desires closer?

It feels like fantasy gives a cheap, fake version of what you want, which completely kills the authentic magnetic pull needed to make it real. What are your thoughts or experiences with this?

Numerology and sex

I'm curious what personal years everyone had the most sex and when you had the least, because the shifts for me have been striking. For example, my personal year 8 was when I had the most intense, blissful intimacy of my life, but other years were less in both quality and quantity (tbh I'm not sure how much of it has to do with my bipolar) but anyway , I'm heading into a personal year 1 next year and I'm wondering if I'm even going to care about sex as much, at age 27, or if I'll just be self-focused. I'm already feeling myself shifting away from needing it right now. I'm also wondering if any of this just has to do with getting older and people naturally losing their sex drive (like, can sex drive be the same in one's 30s as it is in their 20s?) and if the epicycles in numerology influence sex life to a certain degree. so my question, if you don't mind sharing, what years were the highest and lowest for you ?

Starting college at 27

I’m finally graduating high school next year and starting college at 27, mostly because my late teens and early twenties were just a total mess of mental illness and hospitalizations. To be honest, I'm not even going for a specific career; I just need the structure to stabilize myself and a safe environment to practice basic people skills so I can finally get back into society. Jumping straight into intense jobs or internships feels like way too much pressure, and while I thought about culinary school or hotel work, I don't give a shit about either of those fields. Figure if I'm going to waste the next three years until I'm 30 figuring my life out anyway, I might as well waste them in university and treat it like a training ground to learn how to talk to people and connect again, but I don't know if that's a stupid idea. Thoughts?

Considering homelessness on SR

Each time I get on a streak I start having the crazy urge to just go outside and be homeless. (And not to get into too much details but I'm someone that has mental illness). But to keep it short, has anyone considered leaving or actually left their parents house and became homeless while on semen retention?
