Barrie Last VS TruBalance?

I currently own Indy's in US8.5D .

Considering adding a 2nd pair of Aldens . The boots I'm considering has a "Barrie Last" and store does not have 8.5D

They have 9D .......are these lasts similar in fitment? Not sure if I go half size up, I'll have heel slippage.

Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks guys.. I called the store and spoke with someone ...told them my dilemna and they also confirmed what yall posted. Barrie Last runs smaller than Trubalance and 9D should be a perfect fit. Just ordered the tanker boots and it was their last in stock !

What dose without grogginess?

I've been on/off at 7.5mg. Made me a zombie and even after 3 weeks, the next day grogginess never subsided. My doc said the higher the dose, the less sedating it becomes but more chances of increased appetite and weight gain.

I tried at at 15mg for a week and same deal....the next day grogginess never passes and makes me a zombie. I'm a field engineer by profession so on the road early morning for commute and this med counters my work so I had to get off it.

However, it does work well for my GAD and unlike serotine meds, I don't experience any negative sexual side effects (zooloft/prozac pretty much killed my libido even at low doses)

I'm thinking to try 30mg but not sure if that would be a high dose. I was prescribed mainly for anxiety driven silent reflux (functional dyspnea).

Anyone here on 30mg and higher dose? Does the sedation become less at higher dose?

TIA

'26 Raptor...how much yall paying/APR?

Have a Jeep gladiator on lease and returning in October.

Looking to buy '26 (or left over '25s) Raptor (no special configs...base is ok).

I'm in Northern Cal and have seen prices ranging from sticker to over $2k plus. $59k is the lowest I've seen so far in a 100 mile radius.

Are we still paying over sticker price this time of the year? I have tier 1 credit (810 score) and one Ford dealer quoted me whooping 5.9% APR/60 months!! On the contrary, I got 2.9% on a Land Rover Defender....

TIA!

2.7L reliability vs ford ranger 3.0 twin turbo v6??

My jeep gladiator lease is coming up this October and I’m thinking of getting canyon AT4 or new Ranger with the twin turbo v6.

ive driven at4 and loved the peppiness on the 4 banger but it’s too quiet/muted but then it’s a 4 cyc engine. Tte v6 on the ranger sounds better but it’s a new 10 speed tranny with no real world data on reliability. But ford forums claim the 3.0 v6 is amuch respected engine and used in otjer ford vehicles around the world.

ill be buying this time around so long term reliability is a big factor.

The funny thing is ranger sub here laughs at Chev/canyon crowd and say these 4 cyc engines are stupid and unreliable but it seems plenty of happy canyon owners here with higher mileage too .

TIA.

inguinal hernia surgery and flying?

Hey all

My surgery is scheduled in a few weeks. I have hernia on right side ....nothing too serious yet but mild pain/comfort when lifting/bending and my surgeon said may as well get it addressed (male here). It will be open surgery with mesh under general anesthesia.

However, my son got accepted into med school and his white coat ceremony is scheduled 10 days after my surgery. The med school is out of state and I'm jumping on a 8 hr direct flight.

If I move my surgery, next date available is end of October. And the pain/discomfort is increasing each week so I don't want to reschedule my surgery if I can still make the flight after 10 days. I won't be lifting much but not sure if sitting upright will put pressure on the surgical stiches.

I've seen some folks here go back to daily walks/etc within a week so I'm hoping for that. 1st time going under the knife so I really don't know what to expect in terms of recovery.

But would hate to skip my son's white coat ceremony since it's taken him years of hard work to be accepted into med school.

TIA!

30mg twice daily (60mg total)

I've been on it for 5 weeks now. Currently on 15mgx2 daily. I think it's helping my gad but pretty mild unlike Ativan benzo.

I've been on benzos for 3 years now on same dose so my pcp is trying to get me on Buspar.

He's asked me to try upping the dose to 30mgx2 daily which is the max dose.

Anyone here on max dose? In the last I've tried bunch of different ssri and tricyclic meds but the side effects are just too much for me.

At least with Buspar, I only get dizziness in the 1st hour and it subsides.

Ps: does anyone else get super horny like u taking cialis or viagra? My wife thinks I'm secretly taking viagra...lol .

Base 3.0 Cayenne Reliability?

Hi all

Own BMW EV which is going back on lease in October. I'm in the market for a mid size luxury suv and it's come down to cpo Rangerover Sports p400 and base Cayenne with v6 but air suspension and other upgrades.

In my area, both cpo low miles are around $80- $85k price (24 and newer).

Family member owns gtr version and has 30k miles and zero issues but that's a different drive train. I know audi has recall on 3.0 engine with piston skirt failure but not sure if cayenne is impacted as well.

Will be a daily driver so prefer decent gas mileage hence v6 . I'm in California so gas prices are always higher...lol .

I've test drove rrs and love it ...sitting is higher and luxury seats and interior and the i6 is pretty gutty.

The Cayenne I trst drove didn't have air suspension so the ride wasn't as smooth as rrs but trying to find a base with air suspension. But love the v6 exhaust on the Cayenne and LR products have questionable reliability long term.

TIA.
