People already got bored of the winner or what is happening so strange

Hi, I’m visiting Gothenburg from mid-August to end kf August and I booked a ticket with only a carry-on so my first question is what kind of weather to expect? Do I need to carry heavy coats & jackets? Or is it a more summer vibe and maybe one or two sweatshirts?

Secondly, please recommend local spots to shop unique stuff I can only buy there (plus clothes too) and good bakeries & good spots to eat. Also, interested to see if any festivals are going on or any other fun activities around the city that’s a must-see for a first time visitor.

Lastly, how can I get a weekly pass to commute on public transport?

Hi All, I will be moving to Shady Grove (Derwood) area soon and would be super close to the Metro Station there and I work in McLean/Tysons area. I’m trying to make a decision soon on the area but I’m not able to get the exact commute time or route due to the current construction at the Bethesda area. Is anyone familiar with it? I do not want to get stuck in the 495 traffic everyday because I will be commuting during the rush hours (8-5). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My mom’s milestone birthday is in December and it is literally 4 days before Christmas and she has always said how she wants to do a trip instead of a party and I want to gift it to her especially a relaxing trip after what a years it has been for her. It would be for four adults.

We would fly out from the DMV area (airport collectie code - WAS) and had been thinking Cancun for a while with its all-inclusive and the fact that we do not want to go anywhere cold, basically want to escape the snow and just have a relaxing but open to oter recommendations. Hawaii? PR? Where else?

I want to book sooner rather than later to get everyone’s leaves and all sorted out. I’m considering the fact that it’ll be more expensive because of the holidays but that’s okay she deserves a big gesture at this point.

The travel benefits of Visa Infinite seem to be more restrictive than other providers. Booked a round-trip international flight for my parents for next month and due to medical reasons they won’t be able to travel on this trip. Called Cap1 travel customer service they said call the airlines. Called Delta they said call the travel portal since they’re the ticket issuer. Called Visa Infinite and they said parents aren’t covered for this benefit, only my spouse/partner or kids. Feels like an endless loop.

I’ve heard great reviews about the new series Chiraiya starring Divya Dutta and it has been going so viral with all its clips & reels and seems promising but looks like it us only available to view in India on JioHotstar. Is it available to watch on some app on US or are we able to use JioHotstar here? I haven’t been able to use that app here or I’m missing something. Otherwise if anyone’s aware if they’re going to release it on other OTTs anytime soon?

Mirchi Dhaba - newly opened Indian restaurant in the shopping complex opposite what-used-to-be Lakeforest Mall is TOO GOOD! I was genuinely craving proper Indian food and they’ve outdone themselves with the buffet options and the spicy dhaba taste to their curries. The staff is always sweet & smiling. Sometimes you gotta wait to be seated if the host isn’t at her podium but I guess that’s no issue if you’re able to get someone’s attention from the floor they seat you quickly right then.

I thought we always give bad reviews if someplace has done horrible service so I really wanted to give a shout out to this team for doing such an amazing job with the interior with the food with the taste and with the cordial behavior, I just loved it and big big shout out to everyone there you truly made me feel so nostalgic of my childhood, of my home country coming back here very soon and regularly. Lunch buffet every day plus heard on the radio and confirmed with the owner when I was there that they’re adding a $10 unlimited pani-puri/golgappa option soon, its going to be amazing. People who know, know how super this deal is going to be

I recently went to Hand and Stone Massage in Frederick, and after my service, I paid for the appointment at the front desk. The receptionist then asked if I wanted to add a tip, and I said yes. Apparently, they use a separate iPad where you select the name and picture of the person who provided you service. The receptionist entered the service amount (which I have already paid on a separate device and been charged for) and then handed the iPad to me to enter the tip amount.

Everything was fine up to that point, but when I entered the tip amount - for example, $20 - it did not charge me just $20. It added taxes on top of the tip amount, which seemed very odd to me. I was not expecting a tip to be taxed like a service fee. I’m also not even sure if the full amount goes directly to the person who provided the service.

This did not seem normal to me, and I have never experienced this anywhere else. Was this weird or I’ve just been living under the rock?

Hi! I’ve been going to Dr. Sraddha Lammichane for the past 5 years in the Frederick Foot & Ankle branches and she left this practice around end of 2025 and as per the law they cannot disclose their next plans or where they’re moving to. My whole family has been going to her with different major or minor issues and regular feet check-ins/nail trimming for older folks in the family. She is literally the best Podiatrist ever. She knows her job really well and knows the best solution for the problem before you even need to elaborate.

I tried to find her or the new location she works at so we can go visit her again for a problem my sister is experiencing for her in-grown nails. I tried using Google and the internet in general to find the location by entering her name and details but no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
