Hey, so I’m planning on running emerald city knights for my friends and I wanted to give them the player’s guide since it would probably help them but the first few pages show the final boss and mention the Silver Storm. Has anyone made a version without these huge spoilers?
Hi! I've been thinking of running a Masks game for a little while now and one of my friends suggested running a play by post game. Besides the core rules are there any resources yall would recommend grabbing or advice I should know?
So I was planning on taking out a lot of creatures of the Amber Temple and replacing them. Some stuff I'm keeping like the flameskulls and one of the Amber Golem since the former i've just never used before and seems fun and the latter becouse it feels iconic to the area. My main goal is to make the area filled with monsters who are more horrific and alien. Like the evil of the place is creating/summoning monsters that defy logic or are just very body horror like. Really I just think a break from ghosts and ghouls might be fun. Its been difficult though becouse i've been getting bad analysis paralysis about what fits, whats balanced and all that sort of stuff. And my party are level 10 and brining four NPCs to back them up and I want the temple to still be hard. I was hoping the good folk of this subreddit could help me plan the encounters. Also I heard Crooked Moon and Grim Hollow may have monsters that would be good.

And he says that the temple is overcrowded which hurts the quiet horror and I was wondering if y’all agree. I’m hesitant to remove basically every fight because the temple has a lot of cool monsters I’ve never gotten to use before and I might have to replace some with spookier maybe cosmic horror themed monsters because of the party’s level and companions thatI won’t be able to use in the future.
But I suppose flaming skulls and unspeakable horrors don’t fit the vibe and his rules have it so dark vision is turned off so that may feel cheap in combat.

I’m planning on taking 8 levels of thief rogue with 12 levels of gloomstalker ranger (using Tasha’s ranger) and I’m curious how I can get the most of it.
So I’m making a character for my first campaign and my dm suggested using the demigod transformation since I like Greek mythology and tend to be very into god based lore in ttrpgs. I decided to play a guardian since it seems closest to barbarian in dnd which is how I imagine the character. For heritage i grabbed endurance from giant and elemental breath from drakoka so she can throw lightning at people and be a big ol beefy gal and grabbed seaborne. For equipment i got chainmail and a greatsword. And my cards are get back up and forceful push.
Nothing i have seems bad but i just wanna make sure im not like missing anything that would capture the big beefy barbarian vibe of just tanking tons of damage and dishing plenty back out.

Hey so i'm planning on doing the homebrew wedding finale as seen in some supplimental material and want to commission some art of Ireena and Strahd on the big day. I've got Ireena's stuff figured out but i'm struggiling to find a good refrence for Strahd who is a woman in my game.
So i'm running the the interactive tome and its been fun but i got to prepping the last chapter. For those who don't know the players get sucked into the book and go to Berez before it floods and basically just hang out for 3 days until Strahd destroys it. Its very passive and gives information I already gave. I was thinking about replacing it with the summoning of the Abbot. The players gotta do tasks and make checks to summon him and find out he's an angel which they don't know yet. Just never came up. Problem with this is it feels not very dramatic for a last chapter and doesn't have a big Strahd moment to leave on. Also doesn't have a good 8th level spell to replace the one in the Tome.

So this is weird to ask in the summer but in my VTT I have a calendar with custom months and holidays and stuff and I mentioned that we offically entered winter and at the end of the month is a week long celebration that is basically the christmas equivalent at least outside Barovia. I think it might be fun to come up with something special for the holiday in Barovia. At least on the Material Plane its about a week of giving and tending to the poor with the last night being a family celebration with gift giving. Was wondering if yall had any ideas for adventures or just fun things to have happen?
Maybe something with the Martikovs, Ireena and her brother.
Also I was pondering how the cold and winter must effect Barovia with it getting so little sunlight. Like Barovia is already probobly very cold but with snow coming in thats gonna be rough. Especially with mountain climbing

So this is jumping the gun a little since I won’t be able to run another campaign for a while but I’ve been kinda consumed mentally about running a starfinder campaign lately and I’ve been unsure what edition to go for. I’ve heard great things about 1e while 2e I’ve just heard less about in general and heard not great things about its balancing but i really like PF2e and the idea of like clerics, barbarians, exemplars ect. In space is really cool. Is it possible someone could try to give me a pros and cons of the editions?
Hey so two days ago I redownloaded Foundry and migrated my old worlds and modules to Molten Hosting but yesterday whenever I tried to launch any it would just be the screen shown. I've tried restarting it, restarting my laptop, deleting and redownloading, deleting my VPN, nothing worked. But weirdly it works in Forge and the demos. I asked for help from the Molten discord and the Foundry one and neither could figure out the issue.
