Best CD stereo under 150, without external speakers?

Im looking to get my first CD stereo after inheriting my dad's CD collection and adding about 200 of my own on top.

Before ive just been rotating the 30 I keep in my car but I want something nice for my room

Preferably im looking for something under 150, 200 max because I have college to pay for also. So a budget option, or something that goes on sale often.

I dont need external speakers because I have a pair that my dad go for like 300 back in the 90s so im sure theyre still fine, so as long as they can hook those up thats all good. Or something that has good sound quality on its own is great!

Is my ribbon cable disconnected?

My ds turns on with the blue light and charges, but theres a pop sound that goes off before it turns off, moving the hinge makes it turn off/pop faster. The screen has an "underglow" sort of thing but the images for my ds never show up

Good misting rotation for a 35 gal tall tank?

Hi i just purchased an automatic misting system for my gargoyle gecko's tank and it's great!

It has the option to adjust the duration of the spray and how long it waits in between sprays.

Atm I have it set to a 30 second spray every 2 hours. Does this feel like too much water? If i set it to a 30/50 second spray every 6 hours does that sound more reasonable, then she'll get misted 4 times a day.

How would you value this card?

Ive had this snorlax Lv. X in my collection for forever. I dont think ill ever sell it but I am curious as to what itd be valued at.

As a PSA 4 it has a population of 31. Its gem rate its like 2.5% (ouch)

The lowest listing on TCG playing for a heavily played version is 400, but the average ebay sold listings based on Price charting is 256 (given one is a CGC 4).

Would you value it at 400? Or at 256? Maybe somehwere in the middle at 300 since its such a rare card?

Nothing better than finding a good rod at the thrift!

Found this bigwater ugly stick and a penn pursuit reel at goodwill for 9.89! Still had the zip ties on it.

My dad was super excited for me and now were going kayaking this weekend because of it 😎

Took a trip to Canada and found some goodies

The Shins digipak still had the sticker inside! There was a lot of vinyl/CD shops in Toronto.

I think my favorite thing about CD collecting is that they pay attention to the prices a lot less than Vinyl so I got quite a few good deal on these.

There was also a store called Emissions record shop that was ALLL alternative/punk/metal for great prices.

What are some good business related electives I can take as a non-business student?

Hi im looking at taking the BGS-business focus major at usf. Not familiar with how usf electives work but what buisness related electives can I take? And which ones are the more valuable in your opinion?

Anyone else's gecko ignore insects?

I adopted my garg around 5 or 6 months ago but she was a couple years old already, around 4-5.

I asked the breeder what diet she was on over Instagram and they said the normal powdered gecko diets. She seems fine just having those, I switch the flavors up and mix the pangea breeding formula in with it.

I wanted to make her diet more varried and tried crickets and meal worms/super worms but she was disinterested. I even tried dipping them un some of her rehydrated food to tempt her, but it didnt work.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? What insects or other foods do you include in their diet to keep if varied?

Any experiance with the BGS - business concentration degree

Hello, recently ive decided to switch my major because the hiring after college rates and salaries for the fine arts programs at usf weren't very attractive to me.

I have an AA and found I'd have to take another year of college to apply to the school of business for any of their degrees as theyre all bachelor's of sciences.

However there is the bachelor's of general studies with a business focus that has a ton of the same classes that I can apply to with my AA. Im just wondering what the quality of that program is like, is it also a part of the buisness school? Also do you think employers would value it less than a regular business bachelor's even tho it has that same math and entrepreneurship classes?

Went to goodwill and I guess some metal head either died or decided to give up their CD collection.

Only downside is the CDs aren't 1.99 anymore theyre 3.88 😭💔

Hi im currently enrolled in my last semester at PHSC and will be transferring to the fall semester with my AA.

I am a big fan of the fine arts/graphic arts and have been drawing since I was young. I like the idea of honing in my skills with an arts degree but I know a lot of people consider them relatively useless as you can self teach but from my experience I work better in an enviournment with other artists and also think it would be easier to network In a university setting. I am also in the position to pay for my extra 2 years of schooling at USF out of pocket.

I know I should be applying now but I'm curious if their are any more "secure" degrees in the arts field or if there's stats I can look at to see hiring rates.

My current plan is to apply for the graphic design (illustration focus) BFA and do a business minor at the same time. While also applying for internships at local art museums

Truly I'd be happy doing anything arts related after college but id like to make some money. Freelance, teaching, curating events or even art markets. It all sound great to me. But I value financial security and flexibility above all else.

I see references to round and angular letters and how you should use them to create a more balanced tag for a visually appealing tag.

Is there a good simple guide about this sort of thing?

I feel the struggle when choosing names to try out where my letters dont look good together or are hard to make look balanced vs other ones.
