We already know the writing and acting is gonna be great, and Matt said he’s not even The Joker in full yet. I have no doubt he could be one of the creepiest and most terrifying characters/villains on screen ever. I know some people don’t like some of what we’ve seen with the design but I need to see him not in obscure lighting behind glass to make a real judgement, but from what I’ve seen I don’t mind it and this makes it look great to me too.

And not, flying aircraft’s are not too “fantastical” for whoever is gonna say Matt would never try this.

With Matt Reeves extending his TV contract with WB TV/ HBO it's seems inevitable we would be getting more shows from him in his Batyerse and even other projects that might interest him. A Catwoman show seems to be the most sought after by fans online. Obviously in this epic crime saga I can see it obviously being a dark show, but in this case where woman/sex workers are being trafficked and Selina as she normally does, is looking out for the less fortunate. Corruption certainly will probably still be a thing after Part Il. I do see it taking place mostly in Gotham though after Selina's eventual return and I can definitely see Bruce/Batman being a guest star. Batman was about to show up in The Penguin but Reeves and Lauren didn't see it fitting so that means Matt is very open to having Rob appear in HBO shows. Regarding Sofia, I could see her role being of someone Selina visits again and again in Arkham because I don't how she would be out of Arkham unless there is a crazy breakout or Selina somehow gets her out.

We know how Reeves also pulls from real world people for influences on characters like the Zodiac for Riddler, I know it sounds crazy but what if does like an Epstein type angle with the Court that would make them the most vile villains. Also the flood being a factor that misplaced a lot of kids could feed into this as well that leads Batman on the investigation. Rob did say it’s cool that WB/DC are behind it and Matt is the only person anyone would allow to do it so maybe that concept could be a part of that claim.

I love the fact that we are keeping a similar look for at least most of the movie and not just changing the suit or the Batmobile at the start just to sell more merch/figures, but if Batman ever gets an entirely new suit in this film or Part III this would suffice.

Matt posts every year for Batman day and while filming the first film we didn’t get anything new in 2020 because in August we just got the teaser trailer, and the next year in 2021 when he was in post we got a new still picture of him working on the edit with a new shot from the film on the screen.

Alfred tending to Bruce Wayne, with ScarJo’s body double in the back with a kid…Matt knew this would get out while location scouting so it seems he didn’t care it would.

So this Batman can tank point blank shots gunshots, even shotgun shots…dodge point blank gunfire as seen in the first two clips…have crazy durability where he just walks off a fall going over 100mph, catch a grown mans falling body without holding onto anything, and also do normal ninja Batman shit where he just disappears and appears…have enough grip strength to not fall after getting shot point blank by a shotgun and in the flare scene he just easily moves hundreds of pounds of debris after 3 grown men couldn’t move it themselves together…Only for him to start fighting smarter and not taking as much damage in the future after the ending, with him not being a stubborn masochist anymore. Sorry I just enjoy great character arcs...Also when people say he is struggling against Reddit mods when it was like 50 of them that were armed and the only time he was got was with the last shotgun blast. We have to stop pretending comics Batman didn't get got too. Also he was handling Falcone and Penguin's trained men.

Maybe with whoever the mystery passenger is too…

I know these awards can be stupid sometimes and it doesn’t really matter but Greig Fraser really was robbed of another Oscar win for this film. I hope Erik Messerschmidt gets nominated and hopefully win his second Oscar for Part II. The Academy should treat Part II more seriously after the pushback they got and how all the cast and crews’ stock went up since too. I think The Penguin’s awards run may help it too. I’m sure if their schedules align Greig would come back for Part III and get awards recognition like usual for him. Erik could come back but Greig is Matt’s go to if their schedules align as Matt has said before, but it’s just been only two times it happened with Let Me In and The Batman.

Some people won’t like this but I feel Michael Giacchino and Travis Scott would cook up something good.
