I’m asking cuz I hear that they’re basically the same multi effects units, but I just don’t see that being very accurate. I really want the standard Quad Cortex, but I’m wondering, would the mini version be a better purchase for me? It’s cheaper, but I’m skeptical cuz I’m just like, there’s no way it has the same level of features as the OG. Since it’s smaller, I’d be able to fit it on my pedalboard (as long as I remove a few pedals). But is the size decrease really worth it?

I own a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FR-S. The bridge on it is honestly so hard to manage. Like, way more than I would think based on what I’ve heard about Floyd Rose bridges. It’s a pain in the ass to tune, as these bridges usually are, but when I lock the nut down the strings often continue to drop out of tune, which leads me to continuously messing with the fine tuners until I legitimately can’t tighten them any further, and I have to unlock the nut and retune the guitar again.

I truly don’t know if there’s actually something wrong with my guitar’s bridge or if I’m just doing something wrong. Can anyone help me out?

I’m currently using Celemony Melodyne 5 essential. I’ve been told there are several upgrade packs that you can buy so you can do more things with Melodyne, but I don’t know which one(s) to get. What I wanna be able to do is mess with the pitch fluctuation in the notes. I’ve had several times where I record vocals, and I can correct the pitch but the way the note fluctuates makes it so it’s always a little out of tune. And I can’t adjust the note position, it always snaps instead of moving smoothly. What upgrade pack do I get?

I was told that when doing false chord screams, your throat shouldn’t hurt at all. I’ve watched more tutorial videos on false chord screaming than I can remember, occasionally watching the same one multiple times, and I still can’t do it without fucking up my voice. Even when I warm up beforehand, I still hurt my throat. Based on the several tutorial vids I’ve watched, particularly Andy Cizek’s tutorial on false chord screaming, I’m doing the steps correctly. But I know I must be doing SOMETHING wrong, cuz it still hurts. I truly do not understand what I am doing wrong. I’d hire a vocal coach, but money’s tight and I’m honestly lazy like that.

Any advice y’all can give me would help, idc what it is.
