Students detained just for being there at dadar
Was being detained myself luckily they didn't have vehicles to detain us, so was asked by a few personnel that we change our routes and reach wherever we wish to but not at Shivaji Park or nearby areas.
Old people, young people and everyone who was around was being detained in police vans.

Need advice, so I have a car loan (present o/s 2.84 lacs; ROI 8.65%; Residual Tenor: 18 months).
I have around 4 lacs surplus funds (after keeping 3 odd lacs aside as an emergency fund) in my savings a/c and have a monthly income of 2 lacs post tax.
Should I prepay the entire car loan or should I invest the funds in a mutual fund /bond (with 10% interest).
What would be the best way to navigate this situation?

What I've been witnessing in our country is the high handedness of the armed forces (Army as well as the Police Officers) which gets unpunished or ignored.
These uniform bearers are getting their pay checks from our taxes, they love lavish lives and torturing civil citizens (read about the police office in UP who had amassed millions from corruption). Still, these officers (I hate to call them that), choose to lick the boots of rich and politicians and non chalantly ignore the basic civic rights.
Judiciary (at least at the low levels), also is hands in glove with these guys extending remands /custody without any chargesheet being filed.
When will this change and how, we need to have a check and balance on their powers and authorities of these corrupt stooges.
I used to book these for 14k return. Now one side ticket is priced at 14k, costing me a total of ~25k for return journey to Gwalior from Mumbai.
What is going on? Not about affordability, but the air ticket prices are just crazy.
They have also changed timings of direct flights it seems.
Like the title says, I think it is really an alarming situation for our socialist, secular, democratic republic of India, that almost none of the bills which have been passed in the last decade by the assembly, have been discussed/debated over in the lower or the upper house. Especially after the 2019 elections.
All these bills are being passed without any healthy discussions / debates, these people's representatives (so called elected representatives) have no consideration for the welfare of the country?
Opposition is also sitting on protest and not participating in the debates/discussions, owing to which bills are being passed but the functioning of the monsoon session of the parliament is getting hampered, which is not a beneficial situation for this country to be in?
With time it's pretty clear that the majoritarian agenda of a particular religion, has hollowed the very democratic fabric of the country inside out and jave moved the entire system towards an autocracy/dictatorship (little harsh term but quite relevant in today's situation).

My friend has opened up a new restaurant in MK City, the details of the restaurant and the menu containing the dishes are in the picture.
They happily serve the north indian main course, continental food, shakes, beverages, and all that you would need to feed yourself.
