Posted this before here and got some great feedback.. we definitely agree, and think that reducing the accent color and changing which parts are painted looks SO MUCH better.

All the parts that are light grey (bare plastic, the sides and male/female connector areas) are also going to be in dark red plastic, which will further push it towards a nice dark red color!

Thoughts? any more suggestions?

Posted this before and seemed people liked it! Some more shots of the actual physical product instead of renders! What (sub)factions are you most excited to see? what are we missing?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH

Anything we're missing? still deciding on paint schemes, but looking at:

red/yellow
blue/black (checkerboards)
pink/purple camo
mud and cave paintings

(we had to collapse some of the clans into dual schemes to keep the number manageable, but we can squeeze in one or two more)

PLUS: Terrain Template Samples complete!

We’ve been testing the new FutureProof Terrain footprint templates for 11th Edition-compatible play, and they’re looking great!

These are double-sided 2mm neoprene rubber templates (basic mousepad material), with a textured, non-slip fabric finish (we learned!!). They sit flat on the table, help define terrain footprints cleanly, and make setup faster and more consistent from game to game.

The goal is simple: make your terrain layouts easier to use, easier to repeat, and easier to play on without guessing where ruins, walls, craters, or obscuring areas begin and end.

These templates are being designed for use with Warhammer 40,000-compatible terrain layouts, including the new 11th Edition-style battlefield needs we’re building around.

What do you think of this *definitely not Blood Angels or Death Watch* paint schemes for our Orbital Drop Marine sculpts? They're reversible for a 2-for-1 kinda deal... I like the black/red, but the white/red is... too much white? help me out!

We're finalizing some of our Faction Terrain for our (very-different-than-Space-Marines) Orbital Drop Marines. They can accept water transfers just fine, but something's not quite there.

We can also add high resolution details (e.g., icons, writing, really any image) but it's tough to make something that is A) too close to someone else's IP and B) a cool enough "homebrew" that people would want it on their terrain.

This isn't a plug for promotion (of course you're welcome to use the link in the signature but) I'm actually trying to do a bit of market research so I'd love to hear your thoughts.

So we all love Orks, obviously, but how do we feel about a Gobloid Warhorde? Because they make stuff that looks like it would fit right in. Just want to show off the new sculpts! (but of course there's still a link in the comments)

We're doing a new release later this summer that is dual-faction sculpts, Orbital Drop Marines vs Gobloid Warhorde.

As a HUGE fan of a certain cockney-accented faction, it had to be the first one we designed :) There will be a bunch of other color options, as well, for the pre-painted ones. This one is, uh, "red".
