Having Tablet Troubles.

Having Tablet Troubles.

Hello, I have been using the free Grammarly on my phones for a while now. I mostly use it to help me write my stories (Stories I just write for myself). I recently got a Samsung Tablet to use for my writing and stuff. I was excited to finally have a better screen to work on. But I downloaded Grammarly and did the normal setup and Grammarly doesn't work on any of the writing platforms. It doesn't work on Google Docs, Google, Chrome, or Samsung Notes. It only works on Grammarly, Google Play Store, and Smaller platforms not built for writing. When I try to use it on the writing platforms the Floating assistant either doesn't show up, or it's yellow with a warning sign on it and says that Grammarly is not compatible with the app, which ends up being most of the apps I have on the Tablet. I don't understand what's wrong because it works perfectly fine on these apps with my phone. Is anyone able to help me? I can't use the paste box in the app because that ruins my workflow and thought process.

How would you make a mythical creature kpop group?

I was bored and started wondering. What would be a great mythical creature kpop group. XG was the first thing that came to mind. And so I started coming up with my own idea. So I'm gonna try a game with you all. Drop some mainstream mythical creatures that you think would be fun in a kpop group. I will look through the comments and try to find the most commented ones and I will turn them into a group.

Give it a try! :)

What Backyardigans Episode would you think would be a great full book?

What Backyardigans Episode do you think would be a great Book or even movie? Now of course some things from the episode would be changed to make it less Backyardigans and more realistic. For me, I personally feel like Whodunit would be an amazing Mystery Book or movie. The episode scared me so much as a kid and still makes me feel uneasy. Now, of course, if it were made into a realistic movie or book the names would be changed the plot would be more realistic, and it wouldn't involve the imagination that the episode has. What do you guys think? What episodes do you think would be a good book or movie, and what do you think they would become and be like?

I Am Below 5th Grade Level In Writing.

Hello everyone! I'm a 20-year-old female who had a difficult childhood and wasn't able to properly learn how to write. I knew the basic Comma, Period, and quotation marks. But I don't know words well, I reuse words a lot and my word catalogue is very simple, no cool words or anything. I have A LOT to learn, and so I want to take this in steps.

First I want to learn how to Properly Format Dialogue. Such as, when an action or description tag is in the middle of dialogue. When does a period or comma go in or outside the quotation marks ("Jack can you take the dog for a walk?",) or ("Jack can you take the dog for a walk?,"). Also, how do you write dialogue with a tag in front of or after it? And do you make Dialogue on its own line, or can you keep it in a paragraph?

Also, I want to know when to use BOLD and Italics. Like I want to write sound effects but I don't know how.

I just want to clarify that the reason I want to know these things is 1. Because I simply just want to write better, it gets embarrassing when I have to write something formal but can't. And 2. Because I'm a very creative person and have so many story ideas in my head that I want to write them and share them with the world, but because my writing is not good It's hard for me to put my ideas on paper. I have had to many people simply just tell me to read books to learn. That doesn't work for me at all. I need someone to explain it to me.

If any of you guys could explain those things to me that would be great. Just explain when I use what and how I know to use what. I wish I could get a teacher to work on it with me, but I'm literally broke. Also, I'm so sorry for my post I know it's a mess.

I Don’t Think I Finished It

When I was about 12, I went through a phase where all I watched on YouTube were urban legend videos. I was obsessed with them. One day I spent hours just going from one video to the next, and eventually I came across something called the Daruma-San Ritual. Some people also call it “The Bath Game.”

I kept watching more videos about it, and by that night I had already decided I was going to try it the next day. I knew I would be home alone, and that felt like the perfect chance.

The next day, after everyone left, I started getting ready.

For anyone who does not know, the ritual is based on a story about a girl who died in a shower. The version I heard said she slipped, hit the faucet, and gouged her eye out. The whole ritual is built around that moment.

You are supposed to be completely alone in the house. All the lights have to be off. It takes place in the bathroom.

You turn off the lights, close your eyes, and step into the shower. You keep your eyes closed the entire time. While you wash your hair, you repeat the same phrase over and over.

“Daruma-San fell down. Daruma-San fell down.”

You do not stop until you are finished.

Once you are done, you are supposed to rinse your hair, still with your eyes closed. People say that at that point, you will see something. A vision of the girl in the shower. Slipping. Falling. Dying.

After that, you ask one question.

“Why did you fall?”

Then you get out of the shower, still without opening your eyes, and leave the bathroom as fast as you can. You are supposed to go straight to sleep.

The next day is when it continues. The idea is that she follows you. It turns into something like Red Light, Green Light. If she gets too close, you say a specific phrase to stop her and create distance. At the end of the day, you say, “I cut you loose,” and it is supposed to end.

If you make it through without her reaching you, you are supposed to have good luck afterward.

So of course, at 12 years old, that was all I needed to hear.

I took my towel and clothes into the bathroom and got into the shower. I had to keep my eyes closed the whole time. I remember trying not to panic over how vulnerable that felt.

I turned the water on and started washing my hair.

“Daruma-San fell down. Daruma-San fell down.”

I just kept repeating it. Over and over. Trying not to think about anything else.

Eventually, I finished washing my hair and started rinsing.

That was when it happened.

Even though my eyes were closed, I saw something. It was not clear, more like a dark impression than a full image, but I could make it out. A girl in the shower. She slipped. There was a sharp movement, and then something violent. I could hear her screaming. Loud. Panicked. It felt too real.

I could not see her face clearly, just the motion and the sound.

Still with my eyes closed, I said, “Why did you fall?”

The second I finished the sentence, something slammed into my head.

I jumped and my eyes flew open.

The shower rod had fallen straight down and hit me. It was one of those heavy, retractable rods that had been up for over a year without any problems. I had not touched the curtain at all.

The bathroom was pitch black.

I stood there for a second, completely frozen, trying to process what just happened. Then I got out of the shower as fast as I could, turned the lights on, grabbed my towel, and ran out.

I left my clothes behind without even thinking about it.

I went straight to my room, blinking hard like I could reset what I had just seen. I sat on my bed, trying to calm myself down, trying to come up with any explanation that made sense.

The only thing I could think of was the steam. Maybe the heat loosened the rod and caused it to fall.

But the timing did not feel random.

It felt immediate. Like it happened because I asked the question.

Then I realized something that made it worse.

I never turned the bathroom lights off.

I was so focused on keeping my eyes closed that I forgot that part completely. I know for a fact I did not turn them off before I got in the shower.

So how was the room completely dark?

I keep thinking about that.

If I did the ritual wrong, then something was already off. And if something turned the lights off for me, then it means I was not alone in that bathroom.

I do not know if I finished the ritual properly. I do not know if it even matters.

All I know is that I never said “I cut you loose.”

And sometimes, even now, I still feel like something is just behind me.

I need help, I feel bad.

Hello Kpopers! I'm reaching out to ask for your advice on a frustrating and somewhat contentious situation. So I love K-pop a lot, I'm mostly a Girl Group stan. That's because I enjoy the girl groups and their songs more. But it's also because of my controversial reasons. Let me explain. I got into K-pop in 2016, and the first ever group I listened to was BTS. They were the group that got me into K-pop. I loved their music so much, and I still do. Over the years they have become my ULT K-pop group. That's because they were the first K-pop group for me. After all, I love all the members and their friendship. But the main reason they became my ULT group is that I love EVERY SINGLE song they have. It's literally insane, I have even had one of my K-pop friends try to find a song I don't like. But they couldn't. (That includes Solos). That's not common for me, and BTS ended up being the only Artists EVER that I like every song from them. (God could take away all other K-pop groups and I will be perfectly fine with the BTS discography.)

This is the reason I'm coming for advice. Because BTS was my first EVER K-pop artist, and they do happen to be my obsession and ULTS. Now it's so difficult to get into other boy K-pop groups. All the K-pop fans talk about EXO, Stray Kids, TXT, Seventeen, Enhypen, etc. but I have been struggling for YEARS to get into other boy groups. I will give you guys a reference of what it's like. It's like when you buy a Premium version of a Video or photo editing app (AKA: high quality and alot of editing options that you love), but then one day you wake up and go to the app and your premium is gone and you only have the free version. And so now all the features on the app you needed are gone and you have the simple features that you don't use and now your just sitting wondering what the heck do you do now, and if you got to buy it again. It's like when a Rich billionaire randomly goes broke and homeless and so now they are struggling bc they are so use to the rich life.

Bare with me here. It's like getting the best quality you can ever get and then lowering your quality and now it doesn't feel right. Do y'all get what I'm saying? I hope so it's hard to explain without being rude. But that's what it's like for me when I try to get into other boy groups, it's easy to get into Girl Groups for me because I don't really have a ULT Girl Group. The closest thing I have to one is XG. I have tried so many boy groups, but they don't feel right to me. They lyrics don't sound right they don't feel like they make sense. The singing feels bland. And the music sound itself sounds messy to me. Their slow songs just sound cringe and boring. BTS songs are all smooth but stylish, they are hormonies. And so going to songs that have instrumental that are full of random sound effects, shouting, and vocal layering just feels too much for me.

It gets annoying when I try to make kpop friends and then they start talking about boy groups, but I can't say anything because I can't get into those groups. And so the only time I can join the conversation is when they bring up BTS. That gets embarrassing and awkward. And I see so many Kpop fans talk so Highly of these other boy groups, and so it makes me want to like the groups. But when I go to watch videos of the members doing challenges or on shows or what ever, or I go to listen to the music my mind and body just go "NOPE". So I want to ask you guess on advice on how to get into other boy groups. Im tired of being boring because I can't join on the fun of other boy groups, and I'm tired of being embarrassed that the only time I can take is when BTS is mentioned and me awkwardly sitting there waiting for them to mention something I can talked about. Please help, I want to enjoy more boy groups.

Hello everyone! I am a 20 year old Girl that has 4 books that I want to write. The 4 books are Romance, Fantasy, Action (Werewolf Book Series). Action, Angst, Romance (Zombie Apocalypse Book). Angst, Action, Romance (Underground Boxing Book). And Mystery, Thriller (Whodunit Book).

I want to find some friends that I can talk to and ask for advice and ideas on how to write and form my stories. I struggle with professional writing, and it leads me to not being motivated to write. I would love a friend or two that can talk to me about my stories, help me properly write them (Maybe even just being a Full editor for my books), and just someone I can just have fun with talking about book concepts and ideas.

If anyone is up to being friends with me, I would love that a lot. We can also move to Discord as well to have more freedom I guess. Just DM me on Reddit and we can get together! :)

Hello! Today I ranked two different Chucky Tierlists, and I wanted to share them with you all. The first image is my ranking of the movies and show. The second image is me ranking Chucky Designs and looks (Please keep in mind that there are some looks missing, but I didn't make these tierlists myself.)

I would like to know what you think about my rankings, and how would you rank them. :)
