Permit to license

I’m 20 and my insurance company raised my parent’s insurance to $315 monthly (they were paying $143 before i was added) I only have my permit. However, I’m getting my license in a few weeks and I’m wondering if anyone has any idea how much the price is going to jump because I pay my portion of the insurance to my parents. For reference I live in Pennsylvania because I know location matters depending on price, my mom’s car that I drive is a 2023 Hyundai Elantra N Line, which I know can be an expensive car to insure. I called our insurance company and they were unable to give us a new quote until I have my license. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

FRIDAY GA LAWN

I am selling 1 Friday GA LAWN ticket for DC! $150. We can message on instagram or another preferred platform to avoid any scams on both of our ends so we both are sure the other is being legit! It unfortunately won’t let me sell it through Ticketmaster:(.

United rules

My first trip flying United ever was recently (PIT-IAH-EZE) and all the way back. Experienced a delay last night that made me miss my connection this morning. United not only gave all of us a meal voucher but gave some of us miles or a travel certificate. I was mostly loyal to Delta before this but not ever again! Despite the unfortunate delay and missing my connection, everyone was so helpful and kind. The flight attendants are also very friendly! I genuinely can’t wait for my next flight with them.

IAH

My flight from EZE to IAH is extremely delayed bringing my connection time down to 1 hour and 10 minutes. Giving me little time to recheck my bag and clear customs. I don’t have precheck or GE. I do use the MPC app though. I believe more time will be taken off of my connecting time given we still have not boarded. Best guess, how much time does it take to clear customs and recheck my bag at IAH. My first time clearing customs at this airport, in the past I’ve been very lucky with the MPC app and bag check only taking me 20ish minutes. I have the option to rebook but it’s hours later and I’d much prefer not to!

International couple 21F & 20F

Hi everyone! I just need some advice. I’m 20 and my girlfriend is 21. She is studying, I currently work but will eventually study. She lives in Argentina, and I live in Pennsylvania. I really want to make the move to be with her by the end of next year. Does anyone who did international long distance have any advice for making such a big move, I feel like I don’t even know where to start. It seems like a very lengthy and overwhelming process but I want it bad. We’ve been together for almost 2 years and see each other 2 months out of the year (Typically January into February and then June into July.) The goodbye just gets harder every single time.

EZE Airport

I have a question about the airport. My flight departs at 9:00p.m. on a Wednesday to Houston, Texas. Do I really need to follow the 3 hour rule that day? The other times I’ve flown out have been to Atlanta which are typically super late flights and security is packed. Will it be packed around 7ish as well? Would 2 hours be enough? Obviously I know that no one can fully predict it as every airport has highs and lows but please lmk your best guess! I know I can also see the wait times on the website. The reason I’m asking is because my girlfriend and I are long distance and leaving is the hardest part every time and we always want as much time with each other as possible.

Travel constipation

Hello everyone, I am no stranger to constipation at home but when I travel it gets worse. I had to see the doctor in Argentina last year because I went 2 and a half weeks with no bowel movement. I am back in Argentina going on day 5 of no bowel movement and the laxative I took didn’t work. Does anyone have any good tricks? I’ve tried a lot of things and google is probably tired of me at this point. PLEASEEE let me know what works for you guys, quickly and efficiently. Thanks!

Parasonic wifi

I have a question about the inflight wifi. I’m doing Houston to Buenos Aires and was wondering if anyone knew who much the wifi would be and if it’s worth the purchase? This is my first time flying United and I’m pretty excited for my first flight to Houston because I’ll get the Starlink! I’ve heard great things about it. Please let me know about the Parasonic and your experience with it on international flights. Also, if I choose to not purchase the wifi, is it true that I’m still able to text? My family is super anxious when I fly because I’m still a young adult so they’re just wanting to make sure they can keep in touch during my 10 hour flight!:)
