I’m moved in and alone
I’ve done it. I bought a house! Moved in! The joy of living alone is absolutely amazing. No one getting in the way, no conflicts, and no foul smells. I should have done this a lot sooner.

New to PA and looking to meet folks in their 50’s. 58m just trying to figure things out.
Just trying to see if solar panels are worth it.
I’m about to close on my new home in the PNW and wondering if it’s feasible to get a solar set up for my small 2 bedroom house?
I’d like to be completely off the city power grid to avoid the rising costs of electricity and have enough power at night. I just got a quote for 12 440w panels, 12 inverters, for 5.3 kw system. 1 battery unit for 15 kWh . All for $16,000. Would like some feedback to help me understand what this all means.
Should this be an easy switch? Ozempic gave me some really bad side effects so my Dr. wants me to go on Mounjaro.
I was about to post about a boss from hell, so I looked him up and he had been killed in a motorcycle accident. Then I was talking to a friend about the worst date I have ever been on, so morbid curiosity got me and I looked her up and yep you guessed it she too was also deceased. I’m not looking anyone else up now.
Just passed a stone and I’ve got a small stream of blood coming out of my penis. Should I go ahead to the hospital to get it looked at?
What is considered to be affordable housing?
I’m 58m that just got back from having lunch with a friend. While sitting at the bar having a beer, a nice looking lady sits next to me. My friend nudges me I look over and he nods, I get the hint so I turn to this lady and ask her if I could buy her a drink. She says sure. So I do. We made some small talk, I offer to buy her another drink she accepts. She gets the second drink and rather loudly says “Sir, I don’t date fat guys!” I’m shocked because I didn’t ask for a date. I said “Look lady I admit I’m fat, hell it’s obvious but I identify as skinny, so that makes me trans slender and what you just said qualifies as a hate crime.” My friend and I both got up and died laughing as she sat there looking bewildered.
4th day after my first 1mg shot had my first ever side effect. Severe right side belly pain. Had to go to the er it was so bad. Gave me a shot of pain meds bloodwork and a CT scan. Blood work was all over the place. Higher than normal levels. Told me to go on a liquid diet. Sent me home in miserable pain. Gotta wait until Monday to see PCP. This sucks.
58M I’m a veteran that is a 100% disabled. My current living situation has become a living nightmare. Looking for a small one bedroom place. I can do up to $1800 in rent if I have to. The sooner the better. Need to be kinda close to stores or to be able to use pinggo. Please let me know via dm.
I don’t get the burps but good lord I get the farts like crazy. I just started 1mg today but ever since I started taking Ozempic I’ve had constant gas. Anyone else or am I just that freak of nature that I burp out my butt?
After 2.5 months on .5 the food noise has come back even though I refuse to deviate from my diet, so my Dr. wants to up me to 1mg. I haven’t had any side effect at all with the .5. Should I expect some issues at 1 mg? My a1c has gone from 10.2 to 7.3, my blood surgars went from 258 to between 90-120 and in the 3.5 months on the O I’ve dropped 35 pounds. I walk about 3-4 miles a day and started to lift light weights. My diet is high proteins and veggies and a high fiber supplement to help prevent diarrhea. Just curious to know what others experienced going to 1mg.
Just a shy guy that loves comedy and making people laugh. Sounds odd but that’s the way my brain works. Would love to meet/chat with folks around my age.
Started osmepic at 290. Blood sugar was 256. Now starting my 2nd month at .5 I’m at 260 pounds blood sugar is 90 to 110. Food noise is gone to the point of I know I have to eat but what do I want to eat. Had to buy new shorts because of the weight loss. Love the new energy. Still walking 3-4 miles a day. Planning on getting some kind of home gym so I can start lifting weights. Gyms are a bit too far away to get to everyday.
58m started on ozempic a month and a half ago at 290 pounds. Since starting I forced myself to walk at least a mile a day. Now I’m up to 3-4 miles a day and I’m down to 265 pounds. This is crazy, I now have to buy new clothes because my shirts are way too big and my pants keep falling down in very embarrassing moments.
