How should I practice my modes?

I was initially going to learn all major and melodic minor modes ascending and descending up to 160 bpm sixteenth notes, but after more introspection, if feels like a waste of time. I would like to know if just practicing the parent scales are better, and also what are some things you have done to develop your modes?

(14M) I need a fucking therapist man.

Like I don't even know what I'm even saying here too much issues and complications man. I really don't want to live adulthood. I'm struggling with faith, family, too much issues. School will screw me definitely. I don't know what to think, say, like I honestly hate how my life is going. I'm not even that upset, yeah I don't know I can be too much. sometimes. Okay. I don't even need any questions to be answered, honestly, it's just purely a vent. Thank you for listening.

Teen i want to enjoy talking to my family but i just can't.

What makes it even sadder is I know they're going to die someday, but why can I not even enjoy talking to them, staying outside with them, anything? 14M here. I want to, but I just...can't. I would like advice, and I know it's just a teen phase, so anything else would be preferable. Just a thought, but thank you for listening.

I am genuinely lost.

For context, I am a 14m about to go to high school in a few days. Yet I feel behind everyone else who has all these achievements and stuff, and I really want to be in the Ivy League. Here's the thing though, all the people I heard that got into schols like Brown or Harvard had skills they developed since they were young, or at least younger than me, like people my age are already fantastic at drawing or science or coding, and I play piano, but I am nowhere near an international prodigy, although that is the thing I am best at, but not that great. I'm afraid that with every passing second I'm running out of time. I have social anxiety, I can't initiate anything, I can't relax, I'm not good at any skills. Sure I got into CAMS (one of the top high schools in California), but what then? I don't know why I'm asking in Reddit of all places, I guess this is my only reliable space as of now. I feel so behind. Okay.

spamming the living crap out of scales and the omnibook

What are your thoughts on my jazz practice with:

- learning all major modes and melodic minor modes (around 168 scales i believe)

- getting them all up to 160 bpm sixteenth notes

- also basically spamming the living crap out of building a library full of 2-5-1 licks from the charlie parker omnibook, all 12 keys, with metronome

idk like i also track in google sheets, i heard that its not efficient and i agree it can be tiring, but i just love the tracking with google sheets, and spamming the omnibook.

i have piano experience.

How should I go about making content I want?

*PLEASE DON'T JUDGE I AM VERY CLUELESS (not that it matters anyway...)

Yes, I want to start being a content creator. I want to deliver my ideas as concise as possible for the best responses.

My favorite creators are in the style of vlogs with a clear direction, channels like Life of Riza or Colt Kirwan, and I love the humor of some creators like and especially TechJoyce and Micheal Reeves. I love those people's content (and others too of course in the same style). The thing is, content that I like is not connected to one niche, especially lifestyle type content. I'm thinking of making content like a story, for example (random idea dump):

"i need money..." or "i decided to work out for once" yada yada figuring out life.

I want to know if they have a niche that led creators like Life of Riza to be successful. If not, how did her videos, literally about her, get views in the first place? First impressions, initially delieved to the right audience when the videos, or VLOGS are about HER, THEMSELVES. I really don't want to stick, or be stuck to a certain niche, I want to have a "figuring out life" style. Yet I don't know how to reach an audience in a first place, since nobody would care.

In a nutshell, how does creators, who don't have a determinable niche *INITIALLY, IN THE FIRST PLACE WHEN THEY ARE STILL SMALL BEFORE THEIR HUGE FIRST WAVE OF SUBSCRIBERS AND VIEWERS* get an audience that cares about their content, in the 100K-500K range?

Thank you.

if there are any piano pros that know many different styles of piano. (sry i just wanted to get all ideas out of my head)

I am 14, and I am around intermediate at piano. Would like to clarify I do have experience, and not a beginner. The thing is, I still suck, and I admit it wholeheartedly. The thing is, over the years, I learned that I can grasp concepts fast, like really good. The thing is, my mind is so ADHD like that I need like "step-by-step" instructions to learn what I want or else I'll stay static forever. Used to have music lessons but not anymore, don't ask. I can't get a teacher, and I know people out there who have self-taught themselves. This will be the basis of my questions.

I want to learn multiple different styles of piano, and even become a session pianist 2 years from now. The thing is, there's so much stuff I have to learn that I just never do anything. Like what order do I learn them, how do I practice them, what do I learn first, I'm so overwhelmed. I'm here to be open for advice (and guides to learn how to master multiple piano styles jazz, country, stride, etc.), and I know the generic advice "GO PRACTICE" or "LEARN THE BASICS", but what do I learn at this very moment. IfI have nothing, I'll be static forever, so please help me. All I need is something to do practically. Thank you.

  • Extra animators would be nice :)
  • Musicians (although I am able to compose as well)
  • 1-2 extra writers

As for writing, I am meticulous, but one extra writer would do me well!
