Tolui - Was given Mongolia which included the bulk of the Mongol army as it was tradition for the youngest son to inherit his parents' ancestrial home. Tolui's sons Mongke, Kublai, and Hulagu would later use this vast army to usurp the throne by purging their own cousins.

Ogedei - Became Khan.

Kublai would become ruler of the Yuan Dynasty after he and his brother Hulagu purged the Ogedei family using the bulk of the Mongol army which was given to Tolui by Genghis. Kublai would be known for expanding Mongol influence and his invasions of southern China, Japan, Vietnam, and even Indonesia. Kublai later became obese and died from excessive eating and drinking. The Chinese rebelled after his death since Tolui's descendants had grown weak and incompetent after decades of living in luxury.

Hulagu would become ruler of Persia, given to him by his older brother Kublai. Hulagu is known for destroying the prosperous city of Baghdad and being defeated by Egyptian Mamluks, halting Mongol expansion farther west. Hulagu would die from a stroke after one of his army switched sides while he was fighting his cousin Berke(son of Jochi) who had converted to Islam. The Jochi family had defeated Hulagu in numerous battles which had caused many Mongols to defect to them. Berke will probably be converted by Satira in the manga/anime and declare war on the Tolui family as part of Sitara's revenge.

Chagatai believed that Jochi was illegitimate since Jochi was adopted by Genghis resulting in the two often clashing over what actions to take. Tolui was turned down because he was considered the most violent, hot headed, rash, and a heavy drinker which wasn't ideal for ruling a vast empire but Tolui did inherit the bulk and elite troops of the Mongol army. After Ogedei's death, Kublai and Hulagu with the bulk of the Mongol army thanks to Tolui killed Ogedei's sons in a civil war... yes they killed their own first cousins. What remained of the Ogedei family became outcasts and they fled to the Chagatai family for safety where the Chagatai would often resist the Tolui family's claim to the throne. The funny thing is this proved Genghis' point that the Tolui family was the most violent capable of killing their own uncles and cousins for power even though they weren't chosen by Genghis. When the Muslim city of Baghdad refused to surrender to Hulagu, the city was razed and it's population massacred angering Berke who now saw his cousin Hulagu as an infidel. Berke allied himself with the Egyptian Mamluks and declared war on Hulagu. Hulagu would die from an illness after being defeated in numerous battles against his cousin Berke.
