Squat ATG - adductors question

Hey all, i was practicing squatting ATG, and I realized that my groin is always holding me back. I realized that my adductors are weak…

Background:
Today I was training for ATG form on back barbell squats. One set I did 135x10, and the next after a 2m rest I did 135 x 4, because I felt suddenly very uncomfortable around my groin.

So I decided to use the adductor machine, and dear god I can only do 20lbs & my legs shake on each rep.

I run semi-often (usually 5 to 8k 2x week) and hit the squat 2 times a week. Usually strength training 1 day and later in the week hypertrophy or form work.

I’ve been trying to follow the PHAT routine. Still figuring it out.

Question:
I now want to add a side focus on strengthening my adductors. Any advice? I’m wondering how often would be ideal to train it, and any exercises recommended?

Reddit account locked…repeatedly. What is going on?!?

Is this like a phenomenon or something? I lost track of how many times I reset my password. This is like the 5+ time this week I believe.

Anyone have any fixes? Tried going to reddit support but I have a feeling this is gonna take a while.

Checked everything and my account is all good. 2FA too.

So… this must definitely be on reddit’s end yeah?

Edit: and usually an hour after i reset… it freaking locks. Idk what to do

Jump cancel juggling

I’m playing around with a sparda only combo, and I wanna practice endlessly looping an aerial rave jumpcancel combo.

Part of the combo ideally goes like this:

High time - aerial rave enemy step - air taunt - air hike - repeat aerial rave enemy step with taunt.

I’m just trying to do that on its own repeatedly, to get as high as possible- then I will introduce air trick into the combo. Main goal is muscle memory for later.

I can only do it twice, but I want to get as high as possible. Does anyone have any tips? Is the above combo even possible to loop?

Visiting for 4 weeks. Gym recommendations?

Hey all, visiting family in ladner (I used to live there anyways in the past). I have 4 weeks and I am wondering if anyone has any good gym recommendations? I would go to the ladner leisure centre but in my experience it is too small for me + does not have what I need.

I would prefer to drive to richmond/take the 601, and minoru or south arm looks good for me, but what are the commutes and gyms like? Any off hours recommended to go? Which is the most cost effective? How busy are there?

I usually go 4-5 days per week at the gym so it would be nice to have a reliable gym. If there are any other recommendations please let me know!

Thanks

COMP 268: Anyone with ADHD struggling to stay on task + feeling overwhelmed with the workload? Help needed. New to remote learning.

Hey all, I've done all my other courses for the summer so I can focus on this one. I have ADHD but I am still new to this. Just got on stims too.

I have very little coding experience, and want to finish the course with a good mark, however I have other courses starting next month.

Anyways, I find that I struggle to stay on task, and constantly feel very bored as I work through the units. I have to complete this as part of my mech engineering degree, and I want to learn Java, but I am still getting bored because I still struggle to find practical applications outside of this course. Furthermore dear god I keep going on random tangents whenever I study. I can barely get work done efficiently, and the textbook is killing me! Plus, looking at the final project is demoralizing - how long would something like that take? So, if I put the 4 weeks I have free this summer into this course, would it be possible to complete it by the beginning of September?

Anyone else with ADHD and similar experiences able to share how they were able to keep themselves motivated and on task? I am new to remote learning, so I find myself getting constantly distracted and procrastinating - overall I just really crave constant novelty. I am also trying to find ways I can build upon the knowledge after the course - what are some fun ways you guys used java?

Thanks.

Opinions needed: Would it be stupid to slap my nametag on my backpack

After 2 years in the CAF I decided to buy a MOLLE backpack for travel and daily use. Some of my buddies put their nametags on theirs, and I am thinking of doing the same. However I’m wondering if that could paint a target on me/be cringe when I use my backpack especially for domestic travel.

Opinions needed lol. Flame me if it’s stupid as hell.

Trying to figure out a nickname for my NA8 Miata

Hey guys, I’m at a loss for what to name my Miata. I bought it nearly 2 years ago now, and for its 2 year anniversary I want to give it a name.

Anyone have any ideas? I would like to incorporate “NA8” or anything close to that in it, but since I have very little knowledge of Japanese, I’m at a complete loss. I am trying to think of something creative, with a nice nod to its japanese heritage.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
