Is this just a dog?

I am in (very rural) Lee, Florida. I've been noticing this one lonely voice often between certain hours of the early morning. I'm guessing a domestic dog who's kept outdoors. Probably not a coyote, since it's only one voice.

Is this battery bank still safe to use?

A few weeks ago, my cat chewed through one of the charging cables on this battery bank, WHILE my phone was charging.

How disappointing! This was a great charger. I haven't tried to use it or charge it back up since that happened.

She chewed through the iPhone (lightning) cable, but the device still has another cable with USB-C and micro USB adapters (is that what they're called?).

I'm wondering if I can just cut the bad wire off and maybe put some electrical tape there…? I don't know, I think I'll still be paranoid to try to charge it back up and continue using it. 🤔

Cottage cheese left out all night

Is there any hope for an unopened cottage cheese that was left out from 9 PM until 7:30 AM? I forgot to put it away last night. 😭

Might this be eggplant?

I just started going back to church, and one of the members is bringing seedlings to share, placing them outside in front of the church. This was the last one, and I decided to take it, despite being sure what it is. It might be eggplant. I've had it for a week, need to get it in the ground. But I'd like to be more sure of the ID so I can look up the proper care. When I return to church, I can have my sister introduce me to the person who's bringing the seedlings, and I can have them tell me what it is.

Will this want to bite me?

Is this something in the family of robber flies? If so, does this mean I shouldn't be afraid that it'll try to bite me if I turn my back on it? Or should I? This thing is huge! Location: Lee, Florida.
