Well when I ordered some 3D miniatures I was sent this as a free gift and it turned out to be Victoria the sheep and the eye Midge from Alien Earth series, how cool is that? I am currently putting the final stages of the paint scheme together on it, what do you guys think? Any questions, concerns, comments, now is your chance.

STL files from papsickeI miniatures created in 28mm 'true scale' (1/56 scale) Using Vallejo acrylics and reversed color brush glazing technique, only using five colors. The detail came out amazing.

I'm trying out a new technique on these small scale miniatures.
After priming in Black I make a thin glaze consistency of paint. Then dip, dry with a hair dryer and go to the next color until I get to the final stage. Almost done it's a work in progress. Any questions comments?
Have at it, bored on a Saturday so I finished up this little gem of an anti-gravity power loader forklift by Weyland and yutani. It's hard to see in the scale but there are Weyland and Yutani branding on the front and back of the forklift operator. It has a brush paint job of Vallejo acrylics and weathering with Newton Windsor oil paint. I primed it with pink and tan primer.

Finally the journey ends and I've completed the hypersleep pods from the movie Alien. When looking at these photos see if you can tell me which is the real photo and which is the reference photo I'd be interested in your thoughts and comments.

I think I got it right, the lighting looks spot on. Thank you all for your suggestions.I'm using off whites to get the proper tone of the scene. I've just started working on the crew figures, I'm going to be using a glazing effect.
