I'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced white wireless video doorbell that doesn't demand a monthly subscription ransom.

At the moment we have a Ring doorbell, which matches our white front door nicely, but it has to go.

Unfortunately, my significant other has decreed that the replacement must also be white, and after what feels like a tour of the entire internet, I'm starting to believe white subscription-free doorbells are a mythological creature.

Has anyone managed to find one, or am I destined to keep funding Ring forever? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’m just after finishing work and my sister is after telling me about her awful journey down from Dublin on Saturday evening. She was supposed to get the train but they said the train was not running so they were directed to a bus that was put on by Irish Rail. They sat on the bus and they saw fellas getting on with bags of bottles of beer that were well on it. After a while they started smoking and shouting at the other passengers. 2 Spanish girls were allegedly assaulted by them and ran up to the front of the bus. One of the fellas came up to the driver and put his arm around him saying there’s no need to call the Guards as they hadn’t touched them while he was driving. The girls were still crying. Other people on the bus were telling the driver to stop the bus and call the Guards. He just kept driving while children were crying. Some of the passengers rang the Guards and the bus was stopped and the Guards arrested the trouble makers.
Irish Rail rang my sister today but she said they were just trying to make light of it.
What is the bus driver supposed to do in this situation?

Both are in great condition and roughly the same price. What do you think?

Right Hip (has a total hip replacement)

The main concern here is a moderate-to-large fluid collection sitting over the greater trochanter (the bony point on the outer hip) and involving the joint itself — up to 1.9 cm deep. This is called a periprosthetic fluid collection, meaning fluid around the artificial joint. There's also fluid around the iliopsoas tendon lower down, likely representing iliopsoas bursitis (an inflamed fluid sac). The muscles around the hip (gluteus minimus/medius, iliopsoas) show some wasting, probably because of the replacement surgery. No bone erosion was seen, which is reassuring.

Bottom Line (Impression)

1. Mild lumbar spine wear-and-tear at multiple levels
2. A significant fluid collection around the right hip replacement — this warrants follow-up with the orthopaedic surgeon
3. Likely mild-to-moderate iliopsoas bursitis on the right.

Who do you recommend for Solar Panel installation around Galway?

Looking to get around 12 panels and 10 Kw battery. Is the connector for a generator a good idea for when the power goes or would you recommend just using the battery. If the power goes is it possible to charge the battery from the panels and then use the battery in the evening. Anyone get 12 panels and 10 Kw battery, how much did it cost and who did you get.
So many questions.

Any way of using Solar Panels to heat your house. Apart from plugging in the heater in the room.

Used to have Oakley’s with G30 lenses. I loved the lovely green tones but not mad about the plastic lenses. Are there any Persol, Vuarnet or other brands that have lenses like G30 but in mineral glass.
