Can someone please ELI5; DIRBS

Hi everyone,

I’m an overseas British Pakistani and visit Pakistan a few times a year. During my last trip, I received a message saying my phone service would be disrupted from March 2026 onward due to DIRBS registration. However, I had already left Pakistan in late February.

I’m planning to visit again in the next couple of weeks, and now I’m worried my phone may stop working or get blocked. I already use a Pakistani SIM registered in my name, and I’ve never had this issue before, so the message confused me a bit.

I’d really prefer not to buy a second phone just to use hotspot/Wi-Fi while visiting.

Can someone explain how this actually works for overseas Pakistanis?

  • Do I need to pay the PTA/DIRBS tax to keep using my phone?
  • Is there any grace period for visitors?
  • Does leaving and re-entering Pakistan reset anything?
  • Any workaround or advice from people who travel frequently?

Also, the DIRBS website apparently doesn’t work outside Pakistan, which makes this even more confusing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Everyone -

Im looking for advice regarding my nutrition, and previous health scare I had. Im not educated with nutrition and most of what ive put together below is from reading online.

I am 28, Male, and weight 127kg.

Around 1 month ago I had passed my first ever kidney/bladder stone. Unsure between the two because I mainly had severe urethral/bladder pain. No back pain. Upon passing this stone I decided I didnt want this to re-occur again so I made a plan to change my diet and lifestyle.

Prior to the change its safe to assume I was eating extremely unhealthily. Sodas, sugars, ultra processed junk, and fast food. Constantly! Barely any water. Since then ive drastically made changes.

Now I consume the following:-

Breakfast: x2 Scrambled Eggs, 2-3 Slices of bread

Daytime Snack: Pumpkin Seeds + Walnuts + Orange

Dinner: 2 Tuna Sandwhiches, with 4 Slices of Bread, tuna is mixed with Mayo + Onions.

I alternate between Tuna Sandwhich days and 2 whole steaks (moderatley seasoned) on some days.

I also walk daily now, drink LOTs of water.

I have read online how apparently dangerous/risky it is to consume red meat especially with kidney stones. It almost feels like a crime to eat it. But im not an avid vegetable eater.

So I wanna know from the carnivore society their thoughts on this?

Before anyonr asks why im consuming pumpkin + walnuts il trying to increase my Zinc + Lethecin for prostate reasons /semen quality reasons.

Hi Everyone -

I am a 28 year old Male, and im 127kg. I am trying to lose weight and eat healthily. Around 1 month ago i passed my first ever bladder/kidney stone (not sure which between the two as I didnt have any severe back pain mainly bladder). Given it was my first scare, it really prompted me to take my health more seriously as the bladder pain was something I dont want again. My previous diet consisted mainly of junk foods, ultra-processed snacks, and ALOT of soda. I have cut them all out, with my occasional treat now being a zero calorie zero sugar ice tea drink.

I have written a below diet plan: -

Monday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 scrambled eggs with bread, snack orange + banana, and for dinner 1-2 steaks marinated modertalty, and some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Tuesday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 eggs with bread, and the tuna sandwhiches, and maybe some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Wednesday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 scrambled eggs with bread, snack orange + banana, and for dinner 1-2 steaks marinated modertalty, and some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Thursday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 eggs with bread, and the tuna sandwhiches, and maybe some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Friday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 scrambled eggs with bread, snack orange + banana, and for dinner 1-2 steaks marinated modertalty, and some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Saturday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 eggs with bread, and the tuna sandwhiches, and maybe some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

Sunday - normal day consuming my lemon water + 1 spoon of honey + x2 scrambled eggs with bread, snack orange + banana, and for dinner 1-2 steaks marinated modertalty, and some pumpkin seeds and walnuts

From the above diet: -

I also started walking daily around 30 mins

Doing pelvic stretching, as i read up on CPPS

Take a 1 billion supplement of probiotics daily

Does the above diet: -

Reduce stone risk?

Improve my semen quality/quantity

And aid in weightloss?
