Huge fan of my Teisetsu, and the finish on that case and bracelet. For me, it’s even better than the finish on Blancpain’s Grade 23 Ti.

Help needed - keep SBGA415 or upgrade to Lake Suwa SLGA021

Dear All -

I currently own the SBGA415 and love it, but am considering swapping it for a Lake Suwa SLGA021. I have wanted that Evo 9 model due to its longer PR, “better” movement and case shape.

I’ve located a Lake Suwa in the price range I targeted, but am thinking through whether to go through with the deal.

For those who have owned either or both watches, do you love the Lake Suwa and think it’s a clear upgrade over the SBGA415? Or do you think the watches are roughly equivalent and the Evo 9 doesn’t necessarily offer more?

Don’t sleep on Blancpain tropic straps

I can give a strong recommendation for the relatively new Blancpain tropic strap. I recently picked one up for my 5015 and it really makes the watch - tough, comfortable, just the right amount of flex and it seats the watch nicely on my wrist.

Tools to change strap on Titanium 5015?

Hello All -

I ordered hex tools from Amazon and used them to successfully change the strap on my old stainless steel 5015 a bunch of times. I now own a titanium 5015.

Can I use those same tools to change the strap on my Ti FF, or do I require something different? Silly question but I just want to make sure I don’t damage the hex bars by using the wrong tool.

Non-OEM NATOs that fit the 5015?

Hello All - what’s the latest word on non-OEM NATOs that fit the narrow gap between the case and hex bar of the 5015?

I’m a huge fan of the OEM NATO, but would like to find some other color options elsewhere.

Upgraded my 2009 FF 5015 to this!

Hello All -

I’ve owned a 2009 5015 for the last four years and really wanted to have a version with a titanium case and see through caseback.

A couple days ago, I reached a trade agreement and gave up my 2009 for this 2020 titanium 5015. I’m over the moon with the trade and really happy with this watch.

For those who own the bracelet and sailcloth, which do you wear more? Trying to decide if I need to get the bracelet down the road a bit.
