This chapter of my life is called “COMEBACK”
Hey everyone! 👋
I wanted to share a quick update with you all.
During the last meetup, I ran into a few issues. A lot of people were messaging me on Reddit, but about 3 days before the meetup, Reddit temporarily suspended my account because I was sending out Google Forms to organize the meetup better and make it more engaging for everyone.
Because of that suspension, I couldn't reply to many of your DMs, and I know some of you probably thought I was ignoring your messages. I sincerely apologize for that.
I've created a WhatsApp Community where we can stay connected without worrying about Reddit restrictions. Right now, there are already 20+ people in the community, including both males and females. I also want to make it very clear that your privacy is completely respected and protected — and anyone who has already met me or knows me personally can vouch for that. I also use a Google Form before every meetup because it makes planning much easier. It helps me know who's genuinely interested, what activities people prefer, and gives me a better estimate of attendance. On top of that, I'm also planning a separate women-only meetup soon.
On another note, I've also been a bit inactive because I've been unwell for the past few weeks. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better now. ❤️
I've received quite a few messages asking about the next Strangers Meetup, so I think it's finally time to plan one for this month!
Did we all collectively decide to ignore whatever is happening outside? One minute it's actually such a beautiful mood out there. Teeeeeeez hawa, cloudy skies, and that perfect Karachi weather that makes everything feel a little dramatic.
Karachiites, are we okay? What's the weather like in your area right now?
Hey everyone,
I’m 30, from Pakistan, and looking to make some genuine online friends from anywhere in the world.
Tell me:
Where are you from?
What’s something you’re passionate about?
What’s one thing most people would never guess about you?
Let’s see if we can turn strangers into friends. 😊
Hey everyone!
After two successful Strangers Meetups, I'm thinking about organizing Vol. 3. It's been amazing seeing complete strangers show up, break the ice, and leave with new friends and good memories.
The best part so far has been the people. Every meetup has had a different mix of personalities, stories, and experiences, which is what makes it fun.
This time, I'd love to get the community involved in planning it.
What activity would you enjoy most?
🎳 Bowling
☕ Coffee Meetup
🎲 Board Games
🏓 Indoor Games
🎯 Something else?
Feel free to suggest venues, activities, or any ideas that would make the meetup more enjoyable.
Also, if Vol. 3 happens, would you join?
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions and hopefully meeting some new faces soon!
Ever since I posted about the first Strangers Meetup, I've been getting DMs asking how it actually went.
Honestly, it was a lot better than most people expected.
A group of complete strangers showed up, everyone was a little unsure at first, but within minutes people were talking, laughing, sharing stories, and having a genuinely good time. By the end, nobody felt like a stranger anymore.
For anyone curious about the vibe, I've attached the instagram reel so you can see the meetup.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZTJbORsh7t/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
One thing I learned from organizing it: a lot of people almost didn't come, and most of them later said they were glad they didn't cancel.
We're now planning Strangers Meetup Vol. 3.
So let me ask:
If we announce the next meetup tomorrow, are you coming or making excuses again? 👀
Comment:
✅ I'm coming
❌ Maybe next time
Also, what activity should we do for Vol. 3?
And its finally on!!!
I’ve been looking at the reach of my recent posts for Strangers Meetup Vol. 2, and honestly, I’m quite impressed.
Some posts reached 12k+ views, others crossed 4k+ and 2k+ views, with the majority of the audience coming from Pakistan. The engagement has been encouraging, and I’ve received a number of DMs from people showing interest.
What surprises me, though, is that while many people are engaging and asking questions, very few have actually gone ahead and confirmed their bookings.
The interesting part is People are clearly curious. They’re watching, reacting, and participating in conversations. But taking that final step and actually showing up for a new experience seems to be where most hesitate.
My vision for this meetup has always been bigger than just filling seats. I want to create opportunities for people to connect, meet new people, and step away from the toxic mindset that keeps us stuck in the same routines. The goal is to build a genuine community where people can enjoy something different, have meaningful conversations, and create memorable experiences.
Seeing the response on Reddit has been refreshing. The community here is far more engaging and open-minded than I initially expected.
Now the real question is:
Who is genuinely interested in experiencing something new, and who is only interested in talking about it?
⏰ Booking deadline: June 5th, 10:00 PM
Let’s see who takes the leap.

About Me:
I am a caring, loyal, and relationship-oriented person who believes marriage is a lifelong partnership built on trust, understanding, and mutual support. I value sincerity, emotional connection, and family bonds. My goal is to find a compatible life partner with whom I can build a peaceful, loving, and stable future.
Age: 31
Height & Weight: 5'8" (173 cm), 86 kg. Broad build and currently focused on improving fitness, overall health, and my spiritual journey as I strive to become the best version of myself.
Location: Karachi, Pakistan.
Accommodation: Rented accommodation (300-yard house) in Karachi.
Education: Graduate, Bachelor's in Commerce.
Income Source: Employed in a managerial/administrative role with a stable source of income.
Marital Status: Never Married.
Religion & Practice:
Muslim. Offer prayers, fast during Ramadan, and strive to follow Islamic values in daily life. I have also started doing regular dhikr and am grateful that Allah has blessed me with this consistency. I try to help others whenever I can through charitable efforts, including blood donation and donating my hair for cancer patients. It is difficult for me to ignore someone in distress, and I do my best to support people within my capacity. By the grace of Allah, I was also a means through which a non-Muslim accepted Islam. I do not consider these achievements to be my own; I believe Allah grants honor and opportunities to serve whomsoever He wills.
Hobbies & Interests:
I have a wide range of interests and would describe myself as an extrovert who enjoys meeting new people and exploring different experiences. I enjoy watching movies and TV series, trying new activities, social gatherings, coffee/chai outings, long walks, fitness, and self-improvement. I have a strong interest in chiropractic care and wellness. I also love food not only eating it but cooking as well. My karahi is a specialty, and anyone who tries it usually becomes a fan! Overall, I am someone with many talents, a curious mindset, and a passion for learning, creating, and making the most out of life.
Family Details:
Belong to a respectable and educated family. Father passed away in 2019. My mother is a homemaker. I am the eldest sibling. I have two younger brothers and one younger sister. One of my younger brothers got married in 2025.
Requirements for a Partner:
Looking for a kind-hearted, respectful, and family-oriented Sunni partner who is honest, emotionally mature, and values open communication, commitment, and marriage. From a religious perspective, I am seeking someone who follows Sunni beliefs and does not believe in practices such as nazar/niyaz. I hope to find a spouse with whom we can grow closer to Allah together, support each other in strengthening our deen, and strive to attain success and قرب (closeness) in both this world and the Hereafter. Similar religious values, good character, and a willingness to navigate life's challenges together are important to me.
Deal Breakers:
* Dishonesty
* Lack of respect for family
* Serious addiction issues
* Unwillingness to communicate or resolve conflicts maturely
* Sharing every single matter with the family instead of maintaining appropriate privacy within the marriage
Preferred Family Setup: Nuclear or Joint (open to discussion based on circumstances).
Do You Want Children?: Yes.
Timeframe for Marriage:
I am looking for a simple marriage process. I do not wish to have an engagement or any formal "baat pakki" ceremony. If compatibility is established and families are comfortable, I would prefer to proceed directly with Nikah as the first formal step. My wish is that after marriage, our first journey together is for Umrah, InshaAllah.

And that's a wrap.
Honestly, when I created the DHA Karachi Stranger Meetup, I had no idea what to expect. A few strangers from Reddit meeting over chai could have gone a hundred different ways.
What happened instead was genuinely amazing.
People from completely different backgrounds showed up, sat together, shared stories, exchanged ideas, laughed, and had some truly intellectual conversations.
There was no awkwardness, no drama, no hidden agenda just good people enjoying good company.
A special mention to the women who joined. Thank you for trusting a meetup organized by a random Redditor. It was great having your perspectives in the discussion, and I'm proud to say that every single person present maintained a respectful and welcoming environment throughout.
The level of maturity, respect, and positive energy everyone brought was honestly refreshing. It reminded me that despite all the negativity we often hear about online communities, there are still plenty of decent people out there looking for genuine human connection.
Karachi gets criticized for many things, but today it showed me something different: warmth, openness, intelligence, and the willingness to step out of comfort zones to meet complete strangers.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and made this meetup successful.
This was the first one, but definitely not the last.
See you all at the next Stranger Meetup. ☕❤️
Karachi, you were amazing. 🇵🇰✨
