Hi all! I am currently fostering these beautiful babies and their sweet mama. I know this is a tortico page but I'm figuring most of you probably know what falls into Tortoiseshell and Calico categories as well so maybe you can help me identify where these babies belong. 😊🙏

Also, they turned 4 weeks old yesterday. Is it too early to tell what kind of coat they might end up with? I know that Snickers will have a short coat but I'm curious if the others might have a medium or long coat, as adults.

Hi all!

I am currently fostering a mama cat and her five babies. I just picked them up today. The shelter took in this family 3 days ago and they said the kittens are about a week old. Mama cat is only a year old so this is probably her first litter. I have them set up in one of my bathrooms and I have a camera on them.

One of the babies is much smaller than the others and I notice that she's often off to the side and doesn't seem to be actively trying to nurse.

At what point should I step in and assist in feeding this baby? In this photo, she's the baby all the way to the right with her pink skin showing.

The mama cat is really sweet. I don't want to interfere in the natural process but I also don't want the tiny one to end up passing.
