I found affordable comfy jeans- Big W straight cropped leg jeans

I usually struggle with jeans. My Target black skinny jeans are a bit too stiff and lack in stretch. So I decided to try something new.

I’m 5’3 so cropped equals regular perfect length on me with these Big W ones. For $25, I’ve found a winner. 80% cotton too. Thought I’d share if anyone’s on the look out.

AtWork - I found my own job

I start a temp job soon that I found for myself.

IEA the disability one.

I want to make sure they don’t get any bonuses or incentives to claim that THEY got me the job.

What do I withhold so that they don’t get any benefit from it? Payslips? Contract?

They’ve been so unhelpful in many ways so I don’t want them getting anything out of it.

Thanks.

I created a new personal account - How long should I wait until I request to join groups and how long until I’m able to create an additional profile?

How long should I wait until I request to join groups and how long until I’m able to create an additional profile?

I can’t even set a URL. How long til that changes?

I want to finally delete my other 6 year old account ad it’s had many messenger restrictions and I’m scared it will permanently disable me at some point.

I told my provider that I have a job interview tomorrow and she mentioned she could talk to them after the interview to try and help where they can.

Is that so they can try and claim they got me the job? Or can they really talk employers around?

I don’t trust them snd already have a pending complaint with CRRS.

I have to go in tomorrow since it’s been 6 months since my initial job plan signing.

Any advice on anything dodgy to look out for in my new plan?

I can’t delete the account myself. I’ve already liased with my previous HR department and it’s still there. I’ve already been off boarded in the app via HR.

I even get annoying notifications about jobs I applied for via Seek which somehow end up linked to EH.

Has anyone encountered this issue?

I was phone screened by a recruitment agent last week and today received an email and text asking for references.

I told the lady last week I’d prefer to provide them after a job offer has been made. To protect the privacy of my prior employers. I haven’t even interviewed with them yet so why ask prior? I don’t want them using my contacts as leads or bothering them as I don’t want to lose being able to use them for a future reference.

This is what the email says (exclusive names). The name listed in the text and email is another different employee from the one who called me from the agency last week. What would you do? Does it seem like they’re fishing for leads? It’s for a contract government role.

Hi XXXXX,

Also do you think they will ever make them in different colours one day? I’d love a pink speaker.

I have a Sonos 5 Play. Happy with it but wondering if anything better in the Sonos range has come out (that I don’t know of yet)?

Since moving into my new property, the sound doesn’t seem as good. I’m thinking my placement might be wrong. It’s in a nook or an insult study/display thing.

I’m getting sick of it. Having to explain what I’m all about when it’s on my resume.

I’m just exhausted like I’m sure most of you are.

Does anyone have insider information on these common recruiters? Are they just ticking boxes of how many calls and interviews they’ve had.

As the title asks, I’ve checked online and they’re in administration. As I saw someone mention it in this group too.

They advertised a job one day ago. Would I be at risk of not getting paid if I got a job from them?

I just want to work. It’s been over a year since my redundancy.

It’s a temp contract job 3 month role.

Thanks.

They’re the ones that I find really bad.

Curious if anyone has experience with my provider and location.

I’m awaiting this CSSR complaint update that I lodged.

Hi everyone,

This group is fantastic. I’m so proud to see everyone’s hauls.

I’m from Croydon, Melbourne Australia.

Is there anyone from my area that could teach me which ones are good spots to go dive?

Thanks.

I just had my phone appointment as I asked to make it phone this week over in person but they keep pushing in person and she said she can’t update my resume unless I come in person.

She was asking me why I didn’t want to also go to a seminar about talking about interviewing and AI which is a few suburbs away. Then when I said I don’t drive she said she catches transport all the way from her place to her work. They also said I should have gone for a job that they texted on the day for an interview and not even 24 hours notice. As if I don’t work because of their lack of notice.

I told her again my illness in spine, lipoedema and depression. I also said she is making it worse by pushing me for in person.

They’re not helping. She kept telling me go the doctor and get a new medical thing. They already have one saying all the things I have including depression and anxiety on top of it. I’m not getting an exemption. I need money and income like everyone else.

I already made a complaint with Workforce Australia and I still haven’t heard back. I lodged complaint with DSS email also and atWork feedback email.

I said it’s shameful and that I’ve never said that about an employment provider.

I’ve been with them for over 6 months and I’ve been unemployed for over 1 year. I told her about my interviews I’ve had and she can see I’ve been really trying. I’ve had about 6 or 7 interviews since being made redundant.

What do I do?

For added context: I’ve had 7 or so interviews that I made happen and have not gotten a job offer.
