Seen as the bottom of the barrel cider, I atleast appreciate it for getting me into cider when I was younger and I don't think it tastes that bad now.

What kind of mixtures of drinks do you have from the soda machines. I enjoy mixing sprite with everything for a bit of extra carbonation especially to Fanta.

Any hidden gems?

We finished our first session, ended partly through the first cave and some of my players are newer, but one is experienced and uses guidance a lot. Because Lost Mine of Phandelever is a new player friendly campaign guidance feels very strong here and leads to their chance of failure with skill checks to be very low. I told them when they reach lvl 2 I may ask for them to exchange guidance for something else to manage their expectations, as i dont want the campaign to be too easy and for the new players to feel theres no stakes from it, as one complained slightly about it being really strong.

am I overthinking this?

Beyond what's written in the module, when you are starting the campaign with the players bringing the wagon down the road what do you say as the DM? What additional description or story monologue would you give if any, to immerse them straight into the scene?

As in taking the events that would happen and imagining if they were in a pre written module and using that.

When deathguard players faces Tyranids players, whether it be monster mash or swarms which army based off their stats before we include player skill should typically have the advantage?
