I'm only writing this because i'm pissed off about it, but never in my LIFE have i seen a community have more opinions about something that i can't even understand at all. I've played Blue Skies, Fallen Angel, Exit Music, and Within. There's also a really weird convergence between most of these mods. 80% of the game SUCKS, then the ending is just peak. A part of my souls burns to ashes every time i hear someone say that blue skies is good (spoilers for blue skies). Admittedly the bad endings are great, I can't even lie, but that takes up maybe 1.5hrs of gameplay with just the unique parts. The sayori blue skies route might be the worst piece of fiction I've ever experienced in my life. It tore my resolve apart 5 hours of EGREGIOUSLY boring gameplay with zero conflict and zero character all the way until the ending scene with the dinner being actually kinda a nice conclusion. THEN THEY MADE THEM HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER! I had to take a break for a while because i've never been so pissed in my life. It was worse because it was sayori, I just laughed when they did it again with Yuri. I heard somebody say that they're plot relevant. It was the LAST thing to happen in the entire story- by the way, with a specifically made background. Though the sex scene with yuri in the bad ending was pretty plot relevant. Fallen Angel was actually not terrible but fell flat with the amount of filler. Again, ending clutched up hard, but mostly a waste of time. What mostly pisses me off is what most people say about exit music. Are the characters innacurate? Yes. Mainly Natsuki was the biggest problem. But Monika and Yuri being the way they were added SO MUCH to the conflict and story that i didn't even care. Also, it does fit with their characters anyway. Monika explains herself and apologizes. Ending was also incredible, and it's the ONLY ddlc mod so far to not have a completely boring first 80% of the story. Also I only played Redux. Maybe the opinions are between the OG and Redux, but literally nobody agrees on which one is better anyway. 'Within' was weird because I was dying laughing at the bad writing until the last act, which was by far the best. Most of the time in ddlc mods i curse the characters to burn and die because that's the only time the story gets really good. I mean, I genuinely, GENUINELY am entirely incapable of understanding how it's fun to watch multiple hours on end of just the MC getting lunch with Yuri or whatever again with absolutely nothing actually happening (unlike EM which is why it's my goat).

I'm being genuine, not out of anger, when I say that I want fans of Blue Skies and Fallen Angel to tell me why they're fans of it without mentioning the ending. I played it a while ago so I kinda forget. Also btw I should mention that I actually do enjoy the stories before the characters start dating usually, but they don't focus on that for long.
