Is meta quest 2 worth it for my old laptop (pcvr) or i should get a psvr for my ps4

I am broke, obviously will buy a 2nd hand vr.

I got a ps4, but not a gaming pc. (Just a old ddr3 i3 4400u integrated graphics laptop)

I dont want quantity that much. I just want to play some horror games, rythem gamss, boxing gamss, and try some stuffs. Are psvr exclusives worth it? So as the room lighting and psvr setup?

Stalking eyes

I think there are eyes on me, he thinks. There’s definitely someone following me for the last two days. I can feel it. Yet I can’t seem to prove it.

Jason, an average high schooler. He was never really popular, but most people knew him. He wasn’t bad at studies nor sports.

These days are pretty normal so far. Yet he keeps feeling like someone is stalking him.

But he isn’t really in a fantastic mood either. He recently broke up with his girlfriend. Apparently, she was crazy and had mental issues.

Talking about crazy.

She was a beautiful girl, had some quirks, but was an overly obsessive person to have around.

Jason has a bad habit of bathing for too long. It’s not because he can’t bathe faster. He just quickly shampoos his hair, or sometimes doesn’t even bother. Then he sits in the bathtub for at least half an hour. Meanwhile, he closes his eyes and thinks about his routine, game plans, or studies.

It really is the best part of his day.

Suddenly, he hears a wet clapping noise, as if someone rubbed lotion between their fingers. He quickly opens his eyes and looks around.

Nobody’s there.

But he thinks he saw something move in the vent.

He definitely thinks he saw an eye move.

It’s definitely a person, he thinks.

He is known to have good hearing and really sharp eyesight.

He quickly gets dressed and grabs a chair to look inside the vent. The vent is really small. Too small to fit even a large dog, let alone a human being.

And worst of all, he still gets the feeling of being stalked.

A few days have been passed. He is definitely sure somebody is following him. But it’s making him so anxious. He can feel someone watching him bathe, sleep, or even eat.

Last morning, he thought an eye was peeking at him from the ceiling.

An eye unattached from a body.

It felt so real. It looked like veins were connected to the eyeball from somewhere beyond the ceiling.

He isn’t the type of person who remembers dreams very well.

Usually, he gets out of bed quickly and doesn’t think about his dreams afterward. He even pinched himself to make sure of it.

It really wasn’t a dream.

Now it’s not even funny or simple stalking anymore. Someone or something is really following him.

Or unattached eyes?

But they are connected to something through those veins.

One day, he decides to chase the thing or the eye. He acts normal and walks home from school. Upon reaching home, he quickly drops his bag on the ground and runs toward the closest alley.

Just like I thought, he thinks.

An unattached eyeball connected to something with long veins.

I studied enough anatomy from biology books to know that’s a human eyeball, he thinks.

The eye quickly stretches backward, probably returning to its body in a incredible speed. But he wonders if he really caught it off guard that time.

He can’t keep up with the eyeball, but he still runs, trying to figure out where it goes back.

It goes past the shopping district before he loses sight of it.

Yet, he is almost certain.

The eye went toward the hospital around this area.

Her ex-girlfriend was admitted to that same mental hospital after their breakup. He tried to calm her down back then, but she clawed his face pretty badly.

“It sounds so absurd that I think she’s the one stalking me all this time,” he mutters.

He can’t prove it, though he is sure it’s her. Long stretching eyes aren’t anything normal.

But if I have to explain something impossible, I’ll suspect the eyes are hers, he thinks.

He doesn’t believe in ghosts, devils, or angels. Unattached eyes are the last thing he wants to believe in.

The next day, he decides to visit her hospital. The nurse there says her condition has worsened. She isn’t allowed to have visitors.

“What happened to her?” he asks.

“She’s gotten insane. She started hurting herself even more,” the nurse says. “Poor kid. Didn’t you hear? She blinded both her eyes with scissors on her first day here.”

I didn’t know that at all. Her condition is worse than I anticipated, he thinks.

Last time, when they broke up, she said to him that she would rather blind herself if she couldn’t see him around her anymore.

But it doesn’t ease his situation even a little. He feels like more eyes are stalking him in the dark now.

And it’s not just two.

He can clearly hear tear-covered blinking noises around him, even though nobody is crying nearby.

A few days later, he goes to the hospital again, insisting the nurse let him see her once.

Apparently, they aren’t even allowing her own parents to see her, let alone visitors.

Before leaving, he wanders around a bit and overhears some nurses gossiping, “that young girl is looking really weird. Not only did she cut herself in places, it looks like there are giant pores all over her body.”

A couple of days later, he gets a call from his ex-girlfriend’s mother.

She is dead.

Even though her mother was mad at him, she still wants him to attend the funeral.

He agrees. But he tells her he wants to see the body before the burial.

He rushes to the hospital. Her parents and siblings are there. They are obviously furious at him.

Though they all know it really isn't his fault.

Yet the nurses don’t want anyone seeing her. They say her body is badly deformed. Huge pores, Eyes are appearing from the cuts she made herself.

While they carry her body under white blankets, he manages to see a glimpse part of her leg.

It’s covered with cuts, huge pores, and strange sleep-deprived eyes.

He is sure now.

It was her all along.

It doesn’t make sense, but he knows those were the same eyes stalking and peeking at him from corners.

He attends her funeral and sleeps early, hoping everything has finally calmed down.

However, more and more eyes stalk him now.

He can feel eyes peeking from everywhere.

And he was certain those eyes are filled with tears.

The eyes are now covered in blood and dirt. Blood drips from some of them.

“What did I even do to deserve this?” he mutters loudly while laughing at how ridiculous it sounds that his ex-girlfriend is stalking and cursing him from hell for breaking up with her.

I don’t believe in ghosts or supernatural bullshit, then why now? he thinks. It must just be guilt. A completely sick joke. Or hallucinations.

"She really should stop this sick game", he says loudly.

He was found dead the next day in his room.

He had stabbed his own eyes and ears with a pocket knife.

His mother said that he had never shown any suicidal tendencies at all.
