Don’t really see these pop up ever, really enjoyed this little guy.

Good friend of mine showed up with one of my favorite boxes to date. Very thankful.

Natural light for the ambient lighting (which changed drastically within minutes). Ad600 with a Neewer 40cmx40cm soft box (with grid).

The sun was sneaking through the lattice on the restaurants patio, so I want the strobe to just mimic sun light similar to how it came through the lattice. But controlled. Thus the small soft box and grid.

Canon EOS R, RF 24-105 f/4, mostly shot at f/10, iso 100-250 depending on what the sun was doing.

More of a challenging shoot but I’m always down for a challenge. Client was beyond happy with them.

45min salt brine, flipped every 90 seconds on a gas grill. Black pepper on the last flip. Basted with homemade cowboy butter. 7 min rest. Plus my 2 favorite sides to pair.

Probably my favorite everyday shelfer at the moment. Bold, complex, budget friendly. Got a 5 pack of these Diesels on sale and have been pleasantly surprised.

On my gas grill, I heat it up to the max with a cast iron tray full of hickory chips. Once those start smoking, chicken goes on top rack above the smoke box, and heat to minimum. Then we wait about 30 mins, crank the heat to max and char on the bottom grates. Perfect every time. Homemade adobo hot sauce as well.

Nailed a bourbon peppercorn sauce for the ribeyes. Celebrating with an all time favorite. 🤙

Talked with one of heads over at Western Reserve distilling and he said out of the 120+ bottles he owns, this is his favorite. Haven’t cracked it yet but looking to see what the crowd thinks.

Saw it coming last second at 75mph, no where to go. Didn’t take a pic before getting him out of the hole though. Unfortunate for both of us. Insane that it hit directly in the cover, otherwise I think it woulda bounced off and I’d be fine.

About 3 month’s progress on the selection and shelf build. What bottles am I missing?
