Snakes basically use this gene to duplicate their ribcage. could this be applied to a four limbed animal to create a hexapod?

Manta rays have six limbs. Could this be applied to a terrestrial? Or even an aquatic. Hexapod hybrids would be really fun.

Pronghorn: large lungs, enlarged heart, blood volume, dense capillary networks, increased mitochondrial density, excellent oxygen delivery to flood its muscles with so much oxygen that it rarely drops into anaerobic glycolysis. Its muscle tissues process energy completely cleanly, meaning it produces significantly less hydrogen ions and less lactate during sustained exertion, improving endurance and recovery.

I honestly might say Hank, Leroy, Megatronus, Onyx and Apex Rex(the first few ones) are some of the worst hanks I've seen.
