I killed my snail

I put in another filter until my Air Stone arrives I didn’t see that my snail was under the filter and he was stuck there and died because of me I know it’s just a snail but I really liked him I can’t stop crying I’m so fucking sad I really really care about him. I wanted him to grow old and I took that from him.
RIP Big Boy

I keep missing shiny‘s

I recently caught a shiny Oshawott and didn’t realize it was shiny. When it’s a shiny it even gives you a little animation and I just thought „this is my first? Really?“
Now I type in shiny and there is a shiny Oshowott and a shiny Vibrava that I didn’t know about I keep missing when I get shinys apparently

Salamander question

I recently put some wild plants into my aquarium

I today see this guy hanging out I’m very positive it’s a Fire Salamander. I’m from Germany and it matches photos on the internet

My question for anyone who knows is: unfortunately I am not positive exactly what pond or stream he’s from since i visited a few
Can I put him in a stream that might be close to where I found him? I would assume that Salamander parents don’t just drop their babies into any random stream thats why im asking.

I have raised tadpoles in this tank before successfully so I could try and raise him BUT this would be a lot of responsibility which is why I’m not very comfortable with the idea. (They are a endangered species and get over 40 years old)

Help with Salamander Tadpole

First sorry for the bad quality photo

I believe a European Salamander tadpole has hitchhiked some wild plants that I got out of a stream about 3 weeks ago

The tank is not heated and has a land area but I’m not sure if I want to take on the responsibility of raising an animal that is considered a Vulnerable species

I do not know specifically where he’s from since I went to multiple streams and ponds around the area is it safe for me to put him somewhere there?

I have raised tadpoles in this tank before successfully
