Scared to max out?

43F/5'9"/SW:274.4/CW:228.4ish/LW:219/GW:180ish?

I have lost around 50lbs since starting on semaglutide in June 2025. I maxed out at 2.4mg by the end of May and it really slowed down working, quick. I only moved up dosing when the food noise and increased hunger came back.

I switched to Zepbound July 2. I've been increasing per my NP. 4 x 2.5mg, 4 x 5mg. I fully committed to 7.5mg last week. I'm terrified that I'm going to max out on this and not get to goal🥲 I've been trying to stay on a lower dose but I'm not getting enough yet to move the scale. The last month I lost was June and only down 2.2lbs that month. My biggest loss in a month was 8.8lbs but I average around 4-6 lbs/ month. Which I am happy with!

I don't need to lose fast, but can someone offer some encouragement that I'm not on the fast track to 15mg and then will be out of options to get this weight off?!🙈😥

Joint pain?

I'm weeks into switching from Wegovy to Zepbound. I've taken my third 5 mg shot. But am I ever noticing a lot of pain in my joints, particularly elbow thumb and fingers. I can't say that this hasn't happened before but much milder version before. The constant pain in alternating joints depending on the day and severity of that pain is wild. I never had this level before. Do any of you have any idea what this is? Do you think it has something to do with the much lower GLP1 dosage I'm on now, after having been on wegovy for 1 year and up to 2.4 mg? The thing that surprises me is that I never had this level of pain prior? Or did I possibly have it and just didn't realize it was this bad? Would love to hear your thoughts. Can't wait to start losing on Zepbound, I'm up 11 lb from my lowest on Wegovy and anxious to start having some efficacy from this drug. I know it will take time.

Canada life coverage?

I'm in Saskatchewan and previously applied for pre-approval coverage of zepbound as I have obstructive sleep apnea. It was denied but I'm wondering now that it is a health Canada approved treatment if that may change? I'm thinking about resubmitting the same forms I submitted a few months ago.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

I have no insurance coverage and I'm paying approximately $400/month out of pocket with the savings card.

I'm also covered with Chamber of Commerce but neither covers anything for "weight loss"

Switching from Wegovy

I'm switching this week to Zepbound. I will be starting on 2.5mg from 2.4mg wegovy. 43F, 5'9" started semaglutide in June 2025 at 274.4lbs. Today I'm sitting at 221.4lbs, 219 lowest weight, so a 53lb weight loss at this point. I'm very grateful to be less those pounds, I have been by no means a super responder. I'm hoping for some extra loss with zep. Watching all your progress here is so inspiring. I'm thrilled for all of you and regardless I've gone myself a lot of good by losing what I already have. Although hopeful to get further on this medication. I'm in canada and pay completely out of pocket. Thanks for having me. My first photos, face gains, more like losses?!

LUM Mobile and S23 Galaxy phones suddenly incompatible?!

Fellow LUM users, I have loved my LUM experience until about 3 weeks ago when my Samsung Galaxy S23 suddenly started dropping calls and having no service. After weeks of back and forth with LUM support, they are now admitting to wide spread Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra issues.

I guess I am looking to see if anyone else had this issue and was able to mitigate it without buying a new phone? I just purchased this phone 6 months ago and it works perfectly except on LUM.

American Time share offer? Did I fumble?

Today I called to book a hotel for a work related stay. I was told I would get a bonus 500 IHG points and was transferred, she was vague and hard to understand fully. I am in Canada and this call was transferred to Orlando, FL. From what I can see in this thread, this is a common thing?

They said it was a a one day celebration and offered me 3 night and 4 days in an American hotel, he mentioned Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Tennessee, and South Carolina. The deal was 249.99 USD today, travel within the next 12 months, attend a 2 hour "session" (time share pitch I'm sure) and get 150 USD cash back after that as well as 20,000 IHG points.

I thought it was an open offer to book it in the next 12 months, but of course I needed to pay today and was not interested in tying myself to that without any concrete travel plans. Looking for some reassurance I guess that this was the right call? Or did I fumble this deal? Good chance I would have booked something within the next month if I wasn't put so on the spot today.

When to push forward or dose down for a week?

I've been mulling this over in my head for weeks and I've come to you all now for help.

I've been on semaglutide since mid June 2025, around 11 months. I've moved up slowly by clicking counting. I've been at the 2mg dose since beginning of May. I have lots left to lose but my loss has slowed in April and May. I've lost 2 pounds both months but was averaging around 5lbs per month Jan-March. Which is still not overly fast weight loss but I was happy. My appetite surpression is so so this month and no other symptoms. I've read some posts about taking a lower dose which can give your body a bit of a "break" and then the same dose works better? But then others take a break and it takes so much more to get them to the same effect.

So, hit me your suggestions friends. Do I up my dose again? Or take a lower dose?

I hope this is a reasonable post to make in this forum. My 2013 Honda Pilot EXL key recently broke. I assumed this would be an easy fix and walked into a Honda dealership. I was told by the service tech there that they would have to order a new fob/key, and then rekey my vehicle. I'm looking at ~ $400 CAD. This seems ludicrous to me as I have the key and the fob but they are broken apart. Is there a cheaper / easier fix for this? Or do I actually have to have my car rekeyed? I am able to start my car I just hold the fob next to the metal part of the key when I turn it. But of course I cannot find my second key and have a lot of anxiety about losing either part as I won't be able to start my car without both.Thank you in advance for your expertise on this subject.
