Hi all, I need some advice please.
I've recently bought a 2012 Fiesta Zetec as my first car and I plan on learning as much as I can about mechanics and basic maintenance etc.
On the side panel/fenders, there is some rusting. I know i can get the panels replaced but I thought it would be cheaper to learn how to fix it myself, surely I can just sand it then paint it? But id like to find out what specifically is causing the rust in the first place so I can stop it from coming back once ive repaired it.
What do you guys think I should do about this?

Im in the process of setting up a walstad shrimp tank (with a sponge filter, soil, sand & lots of plants).
Its currently cycling. Going to cycle for 2 months minimum.

My question is what beneficial organisms can I add to it? And do I need to wait until its cycled to do so? Id like a balanced eco system with a good clean-up crew. Ive hears that cocepods are good for it, but id like to add a bunch of different ones

Hi everyone, im new to this & just purchased my first test tube queen, lasius niger species. Also purchased a nest for them to move into and a 2nd chamber for when the time comes. Also bought some seeds and a protein drink thing.

Manufacturers website says to leave them in the test tube for a while, until there's 20 workers, and then I can attach the tube to the first enclosure

Hi everyone. I'm currently planning setting up a shrimp tank using the walstad method. The tank is 24 litres.
Let me know if im forgetting anything please, or any useful additions.
1 inch organic potting soil (take out sticks and clumpy bits) then 1 inch of inert sand to cap it off, lots of plants, a sponge filter, some caves and driftwood. Cycle for 1-2 months then test the water, if all good then add the shrimp.

Hi everyone, I need some advice please.
Me and my partner would be keen to live in a caravan for a few years to save up some money, but online I can only find holiday home park type places that are quite expensive, we'd be looking for a place we could just park up at and stay there, or perhaps rent a plot in a farmers field type of thing.
Does anyone know of anything? It needs to be in or right outside of Aberdeen for commuting to work.
I'm currently doing the NHS Couch to 5K app, I'm on week 7/9.
And at the end of week 9 I have a 10k obstacle course race booked (1km-obstacle-1km-obstacle, and so on), then a month after that I have my first ever 5k race booked.
After that, do I go ahead and book a proper 10k or should I do something else or take a break etc?
