Something we all already know but good to have something to share...
From Driving Sports TV. The negatives they brought up were 20" wheels were louder, and EVs might not be for apartment dwellers with no means to charge at home.

I've said it many times here, on FB, Threads, etc. That after driving our Uncharted for 3 months, I'm ready to get rid of our hybrid CR-V and trade it for another EV. Our CR-V is highest trim (Sport Touring) and low mileage (21k) for a 2023, and we've been quoted $35k for trade in.
Problem is New or used, there aren't any EVs available that I like.
I was interested in the Prologue, then saw the issue with CV joints (heavy car and the high torque of the electric motor can cause them to fail), and how pokey it is. (0-60 in 6.3).
The Acura ZDX was intriguing but it's a Prologue underneath.
The ID4 is just half a generation behind with resistive heating, and meh pre-conditioning.
I've always had a thing for the Ioniq 6, probably because I also loved my very aero & odd Saab 900s, but trunk space is weird and putting a hitch rack on for bicycles kills the aerodynamics. (It's still an option)
We could trade for a Bolt RS with the technology package, but after the Uncharted, everything feels a bit dull and slow.
We're a spoiled bunch in that the Uncharted is very quick, nimble and just FUN to drive.
Seeing Type-S with under 5k miles for under $35k that I could trade my CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring even up for one.
Is the fear associated with this being a single year model THE cause? The platform is still being produced. So the risk really feels like it's in body work.
The default timeout for driver inattention is laughably short and not a setting that we have access to. Has anyone had that updated during service? I don't even know what the default is, but it's about 3-5 seconds too short.
Pretty interesting video by a charging/BMS engineer.
TLDR: Setting Max SOC to 80% and leaving the car plugged in spares the onboard batteries from those things that happen in the background even when the car is off.
I've been tinkering with our Anker F3000 and using it to top off the Uncharted battery. It's not a huge amount, but since I can completely fill the F3000 during the day with a couple of small solar panel arrays (renology portables.) no reason not to transfer that over the the car.
The F3000 DOES support EV charging via a TT-30 outlet and EV mode that bonds neutral to ground and pushes out 120v/30a, but I've yet to find a good TT-30 to NEMA 14-50 adapter that works with the included EVSE. I did get it to work on the 120 plug at 15a provided you use a bonding plug. I've got it plugged in right now and the car is taking 1300w so it's not nothing. It does only take about 2 hours to put about 2.7 kWh from the F3000 into the car on the 15a. That's short enough that I can do it after sundown, empty the F3000 and then put it back into charge mode before going to sleep. I'm going to have to do some maths around using extension batteries to balance out charging to discharging time.
The experiment continues.
He did hit on the fact that it has great ground clearance AND much better efficiency than it should have based on ride height and size.
So he knows what we already know. 😁
Was able to play on demand all weekend. Just had an update and the game doesn't even get to the splash screen.
According to word in the ether, that when one rents an EV it's long odds that they are including L1/L2 EVSE. If that's the case you're at the mercy of L2 destination and DC Fast chargers? What a pain.
But not the kind you're thinking. It's actually a dead 12v on my 2013 Mercedes C250 that I haven't sold yet and also haven't driven in a month and a half. I really need to get rid of it. This is of course sarcasm and intended as a joke.
So best deals on White, Gray, Black. Yellow nowhere to be seen.
I happened to respond well to lower doses and got where I wanted to be without opening the vial for the 7.5 mg dose. The 3 weeks I spent at 5 were horrible. Zero appetite at all and mondo lean body mass loss before tapering back down to 3mg and eventually off.

Now there's a lonely solider (bpi w/b6) that I'm not going to use just sitting in the fridge.

These are the problems no one thinks about.
