Just finished A New Dawn and I loved it. I thought John Jackson Miller did a great job of writing Kanan and Hara and

portraying them from Rebels. I really enjoyed the flirting aspect between these two.

I thought Vidian was a great villain and was written really well. His background from being a former background inspector to being a count in the Empire but also being able to hide his past. I loved him being almost machine just added to the level of creepiness. A great one off villain that was perfect for this book.

Captain Sloane was written really well to i really likd her. (I assume she the same Captain in Alphabet Squadron currently reading that book and I got a Slone to)

Also shoutout Skelly I hated him in the beginning of the book because he had 0 common sense and was so reckless and couldn't grasp that the Empire was evil and thought they really cared. Bur he had a great chracter development and at the end, I loved him he was such a wildcard in the book. In the end he got his revenge RIP to Skelly you will be missed.

Only part I'm confused is when the crew met Vidian for the the first time why didn't they kill him? Zaluna ask Kanan why and we never got a answer. Is it because they were afraid if Vidian was killed they couldn't stop Slone from destroying Cynda and thays why they tried to convince her they were Empire spies?

Overall a really good book with a lot of action and a lot of good writing. Highly recommend for pepple who want some more Hera and Kanan
