What’s the word on USB irons?

I’m looking for a new setup and I’ve been thinking about doing a usbc iron, I’m impressed with how small they are and I like the ones with the little displays, but are they legit enough to invest in? I am not soldering anything too crazy but I don’t want an iron that’s going to be dropping in temp all the time while I’m trying to solder

My goofy Sharp x68000 inspired nas

It’s an Asus chromebox 4 with two step down converters to power my 3.5” hdds, the case is 3d printed and was a terrible awful hassle and warped bunch and I had to weld the seams. I am running ZimaOS for my music and some small website/hosting projects

Landlord didn’t disclose previous tenants smoking

Just moved into a new unit near longwood and was surprised to learn that previous tenants had used the closet for smoking, the closet reeks of cigs and makes the room smell like cigs too when I open the door, do I have any recourse for this?

Hobbit stator on nc50 express no start

Hey all, I just installed this cross country cdi from dos cycles and stator on my 1977 Honda express and no I am getting a no start condition. It has fuel and spark but just won’t fire. The setup is designed for a Honda hobbit, and everything bolts up, is the timing on the hobbit reversed or something?

Mini bike pipe on a noped?

I’ve got a 1976 nc50 and I’m looking to get some more power out of it, would I be stupid to just fit up an exhaust of like a 50cc ktm or something? I’m looking for power down low and a shorter pipe so most aftermarket stuff is off the table.

MiniDV device for modern high quality media?

Hey I’m a design student and I do a lot of media capture stuff (photos, video, etc) and I’ve been looking for affordable options. Is miniDV good for modern media capture? Or is more of a nostalgia thing? I don’t necessarily mean the tapes themselves just the cameras that come with it.
