Is anyone else hoping to see these two form a mentor-student bond in the timeskip?

Here’s what I’m thinking, while Chihiro is off reforging Enten and Cloud Gouger, with Iori as the Tobimune’s next wielder she’s gonna need a proper teacher in order to fully unleash it’s full potential.

What better teacher than her father’s sibling student, Uruha? A fellow practitioner of the White Iai Purity Style, a former enchanted blade wielder, and the one closest to Samura makes him the ideal candidate.

They form a close-knit Uncle and niece like bond that will prove positively heartbreaking when Uruha dies (cause Hokazono knows how to hurt us).

So I finished bingeing Lower Decks and... we all agree they should have been a couple right?

I finishing bingeing Star Trek: Lower Decks a while back (already tied with TNG for favorite series), and I just want to say I can't be the only one who refuses to believe they weren't teeing them up to become a couple.

I realize some fans will argue a boy and a girl can simply be close friends without it eventually evolving into romance, and I can agree with that. For example, Boimler and Mariner? No. Never believed they had the potential to become a romantic pairing. But Tendi (one of my top ten Trek characters) and Rutherford? Hell to the yes.

It's not simply because I like the pairing, their chemistry is perhaps the most palpable I've seen in a Trek show, they're so sweet together I'm getting diabetes, and the fact that they were clearly teed up in Parth Ferengi’s Heart Place. Their enjoyment of being around each other and the way they blushed clearly demonstrated feelings for each other, and most of the discomfort came from overly cute romantic acts in front of a large group of people. Not to mention the way Rutherford was acting in the finale towards Tendi without his implant. I was really rooting for it in the finale.

Sorry for the rant, just makes me sad my favorite couple never officially became a couple. I'm gonna choose to believe they did before Tendi ended up being a captain, and Rutherford was her chief engineer.

Okay, I'm gonna start bingeing Voyager. I've put that off for WAY too long.

Hokazono when the manga returns from break.

Honestly, this break is for the best. This may end up being the greatest arc of the whole manga, and we want the man rested and in peak condition before we read the rest of it. But when this break is up, he’s gonna be cooking.

Ten chapters in, what are your thoughts on the Seitei War Arc?

What is the common consensus of this arc so far, with what we’ve seen.

Personally, I am loving it, love everything about it, the battle, Chiaki and Kunishige’s starcrossed lovers plot, Kunishige’s characterization, the worldbuilding that smithing receiving, and the gray-and-gray morality both sides are demonstrating.

Hoping we see more of Azami with his friends, it would be nice to see all four of them together one last time before everything goes to hell.

As for battles, I’m deeply looking forward to seeing The Sword Master vs the other five wielders. I always love a team vs one battle.

10/10 (So far)

What would you rate it, what fight are you most looking forward to, and what do you hope to see more of?

The movies robbed us of Harry and Snape’s duel.

So I've been rereading the Harry Potter books for the first time in years, and may I say I am having a marvelous time.

But I have to say, after rereading the Half-Blood Prince, I gotta say, we completely got robbed of an amazing scene in the movie. Harry and Snape's duel. Honestly, the Battle of the Astronomy Tower in general.

Harry’s desperate chase, the others fighting, the way it subtly hints that Snape is still on Harry's side by... even though it's conveyed through mockery, he is trying to tell Harry he needs to learn how to keep his mind shut.

Does anyone else like to believe these two got back together one day?

Quinn and Barney forever!

While personally I like Nora and Quinn equally for Barney, I think Barney napalmed the bridge with Nora. Too much damage done, but not with Quinn.

Nora and Quinn were both better fits. For Nora, she wasn’t forcing Barney to change, Barney genuinely wanted to do better by her and improve by virtue of being around her.

For Quinn, they both had massive flaws, but grew *together* and improved themselves. Barney becoming less… guarded with Quinn becoming less controlling, moving in together, trusting each other, et cetra.

Here’s my headcanon, a few years after Barney has his daughter, he goes to a strip club and finds Quinn as the manager, they get to talking, and they decide to try again, by they trust each other for real this time, falling in love again.

So the next run is probably gonna be the X-Men going back to basics, and reclaiming their home, right?

As we know, quite unfortunately, the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, has been turned into Greymalkin Prison. When Rogue confronted Warden Ellis she specifically warns her to be a good houseguest, because soon they’d be coming to take their house back.

It’ll be good to see the X-Men revisiting their roots as teachers. They have been based out of Westchester in… I don’t even remember how long. But long!

What’s the common opinion on this? Looking forward to it, or viewing it as a step back?
