WYR never have anything really delicious again or never have truly deep/restful and comfortable sleep again?

Regardless of your choice, it’s possible to can healthy. If you choose to give up truly delicious food, you’ll still be able to eat whatever you want but nothing will ever hit the spot again. If you choose to give up deep sleep, you’ll still be able to sleep, but it will never be fully restorative/rejuvenating.

What does it look like when a designer "hates women"?

So I've been seeing a lot of posts lately about the latest Carolina Herrera collection. People are applauding Wes Gordon as a designer who "loves women" and it shows in his designs. I have always admired the CH aesthetic, and I agree this collection was so lovely. But it also got me wondering about the opposite. Can you show me examples of designs that "hate women"?

P.S. I don't know much about fashion, fashion houses, or designers. I'm just a casual observer who would love to learn more from those more familiar with this world.

How come only Mildred got way younger?

Mildred was much older than many of the other adults going regularly to Mass (e.g. the Flynn and Scarborough parents), and he was taking just as much "wine" as they were during daily Mass. How was it that she aged backwards to a point that she was pretty much her daughter Sarah's age, but the others, though healed of some physical ailments, stayed more or less the same age?

Why are the episodes so disjointed?

I'm currently doing a rewatch on YouTube and...is it me or do the episodes skip key plot points? Like is Easter Ham really the episode that comes right after Wicked Game? How did Ginger forgive her friends after what they did (plotting with Miranda and Mipsy to break her and Darren up)? The Wedding Frame also completely skips how Ginger and Darren get back together.

Also, is it me or does Season 3 just make no sense? First, Miranda and Mipsy plot to have Ginger transfer to Avalanche Academy so they can have more attention from Courtney. But when Ginger comes back with a boyfriend, leaving her less time for her girlfriends (therefore leaving Courtney more available to them), they also plot to break that relationship up. Does anyone have the inside scoop on why the writing turned out this way?

Everyone’s best and worst moments

I saw a recent post asking for the main girls’ best and worst traits. But what about their best and worst moments in the show. Feel free to include the guys and side characters. Here are mine (though these may change):

Carrie’s best: every time she went above and beyond for her friends (Miranda at the abortion clinic, Charlotte’s miscarriage)

Carrie’s worst: tie between ruining Natasha’s marriage and breaking Aidan’s heart. Honorable mentions: making all her friends, including a newly slimmed down and confident Miranda, to leave Bed just because she embarrassed herself in front of Berger’s friends and going off on Charlotte about money

Miranda’s best; walking behind Charlotte all the way home

Miranda’s worst: non-verbally putting down Mary at their first meeting, at the baptism, and at their wedding

Sam’s best: pulling out the diaphragm stuck inside Carrie

Sam’s worst: hooking up with Richard at the party Smith was invited to. Ugh.

Charlotte’s best: being calm and understanding when the biological parents backed out of giving them their baby

Charlotte’s worst: essentially telling Harry he’s too unattractive to be with Charlotte so how dare he not propose?!

Does anyone else feel like Season 6 was both long yet rushed?

I am rewatching now and so many things happen in the same episode. Charlotte decides to become a Jew, is put through the wringer, and completes conversion all in one episode. She also gets pregnant and has a miscarriage in adjacent scenes. Miranda and Robert go from the I LOVE YOU cookie to breaking up in the same episode. On his first date with Carrie, Aleks says he likes NYC because it’s not pretentious. Some episodes later, he’s telling the gang New York is over and can’t compare to Paris.

I don’t know…I just feel like the showrunners wanted to rush through everyone’s stories.

Of the SATC men, who do you think would’ve gotten along or would’ve become really great friends (aside from Steve and Aidan)?

Off the top of my head, Harry and Steve. Harry can shed more light on Miranda’s work life as a fellow lawyer. And they both just have a chill happy vibe.

Thoughts on Maria

I’m at this part of the storyline in mu rewatch. My own opinion: I don’t like the character, and I don’t like the writing. It didn’t make much sense for Sam. What do you think?

Should I watch AJLT? Why or why not?

I enjoyed the original series and I’ve rewatched it several times over. I didn’t really like the movies, but they’re a still considered a comfort watch in my book. I have heard that AJLT was bad…but should I “complete” the story or leave it alone at this point?

Cast Captains

Do you feel like each season or unique grouping of cast members has a captain of sorts? A member who is senior, revered, and used a lot on sketches. Examples off the top of my head: Will Ferell and Kate McKinnon during their time.

Best and worst of each Friend

Name the moment each Friend was the best and when they were the worst.

Example:
Ross
Best: walking bis ex-wife down the aisle when her parents wouldn’t
Worst: trying to hide their non-anulment from Rachel

Can I give unsolicited financial aid?

Problem/Goal: is it okay to send money to someone who needs it but hasn’t asked for it?

Context: someone I know was in an accident. They speak pretty openly about how much the situation is going to cost them. I happen to know their bank account number. Is it okay to just anonymously deposit money in there? Or is it offensive?
