Which way to install the 14-50R?

I’m buying this charger and it’s coming in the middle of the week. I have time this weekend to get the outlet installed. I’ll have the charger positioned like they have in the photo. Charger above the outlet. Will the ground go up or down, #1 or #2?

Access for adding SeeLevel tank sensors

I’m done with dealing with no idea what my black tank levels are in my 5th wheel. I ordered the SeeLevel Soul. It’ll just connect via BT to my phone.

https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Garnet-SeeLeveL-Soul-708-RBT-Tank-Monitor-p/708-rbt.htm?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=16935042429&gbraid=0AAAAAD_tb17iQFUmV0FFi4X6h7NILIIHD&gclid=CjwKCAjwpefSBhBvEiwAzyEtZxJAtl6t-hMYMAwhNBPKtmYzlDrMAcyyswOZQio9dn2vY_HlzveOmxoCm-sQAvD_BwE

I havea good idea where the black tank is but it it best to guess where to cut a flap in the corrugated underbelly or just drop the entire panel?

Jayport update upgrade for Campchef

The Jayport shelf/sink that came with the stock small griddle wasn’t cutting it.

Had my Campchef 2 burner from my tenting days. I bought a hitch helper from harbor freight and cut that up to make the 2” square parts. The Campchef screws tight to the bracket, very solid feeling 👍

I can rotate the grill any orientation depending on the site setup. Looking forward to the first time out with this. What I like about this is I got rid of the legs on the Campchef (easier to carry). No need to have to level the Campchef as the camper takes care of that.

I had to strengthen the Jayport bracket slightly where it cantilever from the frame.

Attenuated the noise but will it last….

The Aquatec booster pump for my RO was very loud in my basement. Put it in an enclosure but based on how hot it gets, had to add a cooling system. Using incoming well water to cool it. Used a thermal silicone on the copper coil. Suspended the enclosure on springs from an I-beam.

It’s much more quiet, the loud part is the poly lines that rattle if secured to the wood.

Flow restrictor sizing

What size flow restrictor for a 600gpd membrane? I have a 2000cc restrictor on there now and it seems like it’s too much.

Permeate pump needed?

You can see my current RO setup with 100gpd standard membrane. I’m going to a 600 gpd membrane. I’m going to repurpose the 20 gal pressure tank as the high pressure feed to the RO. This is boosted to 90 psi line pressure with an aquatec DDP 5800. I just bought the 86 gal pressure tank which will be the pure water storage.

I’m currently using a permeate pump and had that before I bought the DDP 5800 to boost the line pressure.

The permeate pump can only handle 120 gpd. Do I need one going forward? Will the new membrane work efficiently without one?

Will contaminated by commercial septic

My well is 100’ from a crab house leach field. They put a lot of brine water into their septic system. My well has a lot of chlorides, sodium, nitrates ands Acesulfame. The Acesulfame is sweetener used in diet soft drinks. It’s used as a trace chemical to identity septic effluent making its way into a well. There’s no bacteria in the well thankfully. Should the restaurant be responsible for replacing my well?

Drill existing will deeper?

I’m in Maryland and my current well water has very high chlorides (1000 ppm), sodium (500 ppm) and manganese (15ppm).

We think it’s road salt contamination. The manganese might be exacerbated from the high salt levels.

The well is only 200’ deep and all our neighbors don’t have this issue and are 400’ deep. Can we redrill the existing well and extend casing down to the existing well depth?

This a bad idea?

Fine fescue summer heat

I’m in Maryland. Seeded with Super Shade Fine Fescue blend from United Seed last fall. The grass is doing phenomenal. I was told I can’t have a wooded lot and nice grass but so far so good. Though I’ve read the summer heat will do a number on fine fescue. What do you all think?
