I am a B class shooter and this is my first season shooting uspsa. I did my first sectionals and the stages absolutely kicked my ass. I can normally hold my own at local matches, I usually place top 20 out of all 70 shooters and top 10 of CO. These stages got so complicated I ended up forgetting one target out of three of the larger stages. I placed just over 100 place overall out of 213 shooters. It was definitely an opportunity to learn from my mistakes. Always a new challenge to this sport.

I have two loves Cars and Personal Finance. I’m very interested in knowing about those that are buying 50k plus cars and have a solid financial plan for retirement. I’m not judging anyone who doesn’t have a retirement plan and 50k plus car, I believe personal finance is just that personal finance. Anyone care to share their situation?

I have a guaranteed income of $4,500 a month from the VA. My wife is a tenured teacher and my work needs to give you 6 months notice if let go. Our monthly expenses are around 5k. I like to keep around 25k in a HYSA. My question is could I lower my emergency funds and invest more?
