How to clean this vintage stuffed animal.

Hello! I found this guy at an antique store in a city near me. I swear it was love at first sight! But I want to know how to wash him. I was thinking using a toothbrush and softly scrubbing his exterior with soap and water (gently)? Is there a better way to go about this? I’d really rather not take apart any of his stitchings. He’s also a mini coin bag on his stomach (I guess?)

Realizing it may be rape- struggling to go back to school.

Hi, I’m going to go into a longer story. Currently I am an 18 genderfluid (born a woman) going into my senior year of high school in under a month.

Three years ago, during my freshman year, I got with a girl; what’s important here is that she was a trans woman with male parts but female presenting. Long story short, that relationship was toxic, and I realized she had SA’d me numerous times.

TW: The most stand out instances were the following. She forced her fingers in my mouth in a sensual matter. She coerced me into getting fingered (I originally said no but okayed other things around that area, her fingers “accidentally” went into the edge of my lips, then the next thing I know I was being fingered. I have no memory of consenting but I also cannot confirm that I didn’t consent at that time). She also grabbed the back of my head and attempted to force me to suck her dick. Twice, she suffocated me “on accident” while my face was in her genitals (clothes on). She kissed my privates when I asked her to not eat me out. She would beg and beg for me to suck her dick. There’s a lot more, but there’s so much unsureness.

Police got involved, and a report was made. I made an almost 2-hour long statement of all the stuff that she did to me to the police. But the county denied the case and it was dropped.

Onto what’s current: Her sibling, Max, is pretty popular among his (younger) grade. I understand, he is a really chill person and a good person all around, they just have a rotten sibling. But they, among other people who used to be my friends, have been spreading rumors that I lied about her assaulting me, broke court orders (which there were none), as well as grooming someone (unrelated), and I think one about me assaulting her, too.

I’m terrified to go back to school. I’ve been looking forward to my senior year for so long, since my ex is finally gone. But now I have to deal with this. It’s severely invalidated my experience. I’m struggling, I don’t know what to do.

Song (Tempest by Ethel Cain) tattoo ideas?

Hello! I’m hoping there’s Ethel Cain fans in this subreddit. Tempest by Ethel Cain is my absolute favorite song of all time, it has such a deep emotional and spiritual connection to me (it makes me feel my soul, if that makes sense). I really want to get a tattoo of the song but I’m not sure what. I’ve seen someone get a tornado tattooed with the word “forever” on it, and I’ve considered it but I’m not super fond of the tornado part.

Anybody have a Tempest tattoo, or any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated!

My [18NB] boyfriend [18M] struggles with self esteem, how can I help him?

Hello! I will keep this short and sweet, but my (18NB) boyfriend (18M) struggles with self esteem issues, and has for his whole life. We’ve been together for 2.5 years and he’s finally truly opened up to me about it.

I have no idea how I can help him. So I wanted to hear stories, advice, etc, of what helps a partner who struggles with self esteem issues?

TLDR: SO’s who have (or have a partner) who struggles with self esteem, how can I help as a partner?

Thank you so much!

AITA for confronting my boyfriend about his issue with being involved with the community?

I (18GF) have been dating my (17M) boyfriend, who we’ll call Cam for almost 2.5 years now. For context, he knew I was bisexual going into the relationship, but didn’t know about my struggles of gender-queerness (quite frankly, I didn’t know about it either).
Well, as it turns out, I’m genderfluid. About a year ago, I opened up to my boyfriend about not being cis, and told him that I was genderfluid, meaning that sometimes I wanted to be a man (of course it’s more complicated than that). But he was so open and kind, he told me that he would accept me no matter what, and said “why would I love you any less for being more yourself?” He was the biggest supporter of me expressing my true self more. He even started coming to our lgbtqia+ club at our school to learn how to support me more.

But recently, his attitude has shifted. Recently, we had plans to go to pride with some friends, but he dropped out as we were getting picked up. I was angry and I argued with him, and that’s when his recent tone really came out:

He’s been saying that he doesn’t want to be involved with queerness, as well as saying he doesn’t feel like he belongs. He’s also said that he doesn’t want to be associated with it, nor does he want to be labeled as something he’s not.

I was very confused because this was a completely different tone that he had developed just from a couple of months ago- where he was even calling himself fruity (as a joke but happy to be joking about it).

I understand if he doesn’t want to be labeled as something he’s not (gay, bi, etc). But I had a problem with the “association” part. It makes me feel like he suddenly has a problem with me being queer. He keeps saying he doesn’t have a problem with it, but his response has been so unlike him.

What should I do? This is unlike him, and it’s really bothering me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
