Hi everyone,
I’m a 22-year-old female trying to figure out what’s causing my digestive issues.
Today I had a probiotic yogurt, then about 2 hours later I ate a cottage cheese crepe. Around an hour later I developed very loud intestinal noises, passed a huge amount of very loud, long-lasting, extremely foul-smelling gas, and then had one small, loosely formed stool (not watery).
This isn’t a one-time thing.
I’ve noticed that I frequently get:
A lot of gas after drinking milk.
Even worse gas after cheese, especially pizza.
Gas and sometimes stomach cramps after spicy foods.
Coffee can also trigger it.
Passing gas usually relieves the discomfort.
The smell is extremely offensive and embarrassing.
What confuses me is that I drank milk throughout my childhood without any issues. Also, several members of my family have problems with excessive gas, so I’m wondering if there’s some genetic tendency.
Interestingly, I don’t think ice cream bothers me nearly as much as milk or cheese.
I don’t have blood in my stool, fever, weight loss, or persistent diarrhea.
My questions are:
Does this sound more like adult-onset lactose intolerance, IBS, or something else?
Could the probiotic yogurt have temporarily made today’s symptoms worse?
Why would milk and cheese affect me more than ice cream?
Is there any testing you’d recommend (such as a lactose hydrogen breath test or anything else)?
What are the best ways to reduce the extremely foul-smelling gas?
I’d especially appreciate input from doctors, gastroenterologists, or anyone who’s had similar symptoms. Thanks!

I’m 22F and for the past 1–2 years I’ve had almost no libido. It only comes back near ovulation, I don’t know why. But other than that ,I just don’t feel interested in anything sexual anymore, but i do like to read smut and that turns me on .

My partner has a very high libido. He’s never pressured me into sex and I appreciate that. But I can tell he still gets sexually frustrated, and I end up turning him down most of the time.

Sometimes he asks me to help him orgasm instead, but even that feels like a chore because I’m just not in the mood. I usually say no, and then I feel incredibly guilty afterward. I keep thinking, “Why can’t I just do it? It’s not that big of a deal.”

Another thing I’m struggling with is that I don’t like the idea of him masturbating. I know that’s irrational and I know I don’t have the right to stop him. But emotionally, it still bothers me, and I don’t really understand why. It makes me wonder if I’m being selfish or insecure.

The hardest part is that he’s said things like, “Something is wrong with you.” I don’t think he meant to be cruel, but hearing that really hurt. Now I keep wondering if something actually is wrong with me.

Has anyone else experienced losing their libido for this long in their early 20s? What ended up being the cause? Was it hormonal, psychological, stress, birth control, medications, or something else?

And if you’ve been in a relationship where one person had a much lower libido than the other, how did you both handle it without resentment or guilt?

I’d really appreciate any advice or hearing from people who’ve been through something similar.

I am a medical student, and this will be my primary device. I have no other device other than this, and I use my now. Nine generation iPad extensively. Will this big screen to handle my excessive usage and will the battery not give up on me midway? I am planning on using this device for at least five years, but I don’t want my battery to give up, and I don’t want to charge it every four hours.
